The patriarch fell quiet and stroked his bearded chin, he sighed giving in to Ming Beicheng's plea.

"Very well, since you're my only grandson. I'll give you one more year but it you fail to return home, you'll be brought back by force!"

"You'll be allowed to return to the capital after a week. You've been gone six years, don't you wish to visit your mother?"
