Charity Event

— Alexi POV — 

"We've checked the security around the location, sir, no one goes in or out without an invitation," Taylor said as I adjusted my tie. 

"And do we have enough bodyguards?" I asked him.

"Only two will be visible at all times but several will be hidden in the crowd as per your request," Taylor told me.

I knew it was overkill and I knew my wife wouldn't be happy if she knew I had added security watching over us, but I wasn't going to risk her or our son.

I'd seen horror stories of how the press could hound celebrities, and while I genuinely didn't think we were celebrities, most people sure thought we were.

"Hopefully we don't have to stay long and we don't encounter any unsavory characters," I told Taylor as I moved to leave. 

Lilith was busy getting ready with the girls while I waited downstairs. 

Lex was also in our house, we planned to all arrive together.
