"The Sulfur Dwarves have declared war on the Andromeda Union civilization!"
Shadow rushed into Charles's office, speaking in the voice of the Blue Spirit, with Green Sting following close behind her. Charles was in conversation with Wanda and Quicksilver. On hearing the news, he turned around.
Blue fluid covered Shadow's body, and the voice of the Blue Spirit emerged, speaking in a very deep tone, "Just now, we received a communication from our kind, the Sulfur Dwarves have destroyed a planet of the Andromeda Union civilization located at the Great Nebula Border, and have assembled a fleet. They're pressing their advance!"
"What's going on?" Charles frowned and said, "Why start a war at this time? Didn't you say the situation was relatively stable before?"
The Blue Spirit sighed and said, "According to my kind, a special power has recently appeared around the Klinta Star, encircling the entire planet, preventing all Symbionts from leaving. The Sulfur Dwarves probably want to take advantage of the Symbionts' inability to support the Andromeda Union civilization and defeat them in one fell swoop."
"Special power?" Charles was a bit puzzled. His understanding of such mysterious matters was always limited. So, he said, "I guess we'll have to find Strange for this. Quicksilver, go and call Blink and escort these Symbionts to the Holy Sanctuary…"
Wanda raised her hand and said: "I'll go too, and take the chance to ask about the progress on the issue they were working on last time."
"The next time he comes, let me know, and I'll ensure he isn't able to harass you in your dreams again." Charles walked over and slapped Wanda's arm, saying, "Don't worry, he can't hurt you."
"Actually, even if he enters my dream, he can't harm me. It's just a little annoying." Wanda sighed and said, "He's really ugly. Every time I see him in my dream, it feels like a nightmare."
"I told you long ago not to get involved with the Demon God." Quicksilver shook his head in disapproval. However, Wanda responded, "The Chaos Power he lent me is quite useful. All I have to pay in return is running some errands for him. It's just that he's been pressing me too hard lately, so it's a bit frustrating."
"Let's go." Wanda said, pulling Quicksilver's arm.
They quickly brought the Symbionts to the Holy Sanctuary. The representatives at the Holy Sanctuary were all gathered - Shiller, Nick, Stark, Strange, and Loki - discussing how to make maximum use of the Glorious Fleet.
Stark's view was to primarily use unmanned operations, leveraging his Intelligent Mech Armor to control the ships. This would significantly reduce the requirements for astronauts, and concentrate on research without making significant modifications to the structure of the ships. He also proposed starting to manufacture ships independently.
However, Strange felt that magic modifications should be made to the fleet because Magic Tech was one of humanity's strengths and could effectively deal with civilizations that were only technologically advanced.
Loki believed the focus should be on developing firepower coverage. As with Asgard's fleet, strength lay in numbers, and bigger was always better.
Loki now had a very close relationship with humans, as she was a shareholder of the Holy Sanctuary and a sales representative, equivalent to a senior partner. The development of the Holy Sanctuary directly affected her influence in Asgard; they would either thrive together or fail together.
Furthermore, she got along well with Strange. They collaborated quite harmoniously, so she was willing to contribute suggestions in many aspects.
When the Mutants and the Symbionts entered, it was Loki's turn to speak. She said, "I think you can fully integrate the weapon systems of these ten battleships to create a superweapon. Not only can it be used to attack enemies, but it can also be used for mining on nearby planets."
"Don't underestimate extraction and excavation capabilities; they're the foundation of a civilization. Even a powerful weapon like the Asgard Rainbow Bridge is often used to shatter planets for mining and obtaining rare metals in the cosmos."
Stark agreed with her and nodded, saying, "Indeed, with so many resources available for exploitation in the Milky Way, it is unreasonable not to use them. The path to advancing human science is long. We should first accumulate resources…"
However, Strange felt this approach was somewhat wasteful. He said, "I believe you won't need all ten ships. Can't you give us two for experimentation? Tech and magic are equally important. We don't even need half of the ships, and we're already doing a great job."
"Still, you must present a rigorous plan outlining your approach to modifying these ships. This is a necessary procedure," Strange responded.
Strange stood akimbo, saying helplessly, "Are you expecting those Grand Mages to draw engineering drafts? Magic is just like that, we can't describe it in clear language…"
After a lengthy deadlock, Nick finally mediated. He said to Strange, "Even if you can't provide a complete process, at least you should tell us the general effect."
He then turned to Stark and said, "If we want to follow both tech and magic, it would indeed be somewhat unfair to give them nothing. So how about this, I will approve of giving one ship to Kamar-Taj for initial experiments. If they can't get it done, that one will be handed over to you. You can do whatever modifications you want. How does that sound?"
After some consideration, Stark nodded.
"What do SWORD and other national security departments have to say?" Shiller turned to ask Nick, who sighed and said, "The information I got from SWORD is that Far East Nations are very interested in the ship engines. As you know, they've done in-depth research on nuclear fusion…"
"Several Far East nations are jointly working hard on this technology, expecting to yield initial results in the next few months. Europe, on the other hand, excels in research and observation technology related to cosmic ecology. They plan to specialize in this area."
"As for us, we specialize in structure and materials. Oh, yes, representatives from the African nation, Wakanda, plan to compete with us in the field of materials. Our professionals suggest that we shouldn't confront them head-on in this aspect; their advantage is too substantial..."
"So, we focus on structure?"
"Exactly, that's our strength, along with the intelligence systems of spaceships. After all, we have Stark, who excels in engineering and mechanics. Naturally, we can't neglect biotechnology either; Osborn already has some ideas..."
At this point, several mutants and symbionts came in. Blue Spirit explained the current situation to them. The group looked at each other, seemingly all having the same thought. Strange looked at Blue Spirit and asked, "Could you describe in detail the particular force enveloping your planet?"
"Well, in simple terms, it's something like black fog, but it's very compact with high density, and has an aura we are quite familiar with. We initially assume it to be one of the cosmic origin powers..."
As Blue Spirit described that force, Wanda furrowed her brows deeper and deeper. She turned to Blue Spirit and said, "Are you sure you're not mistaken? This sounds like chaos power."
"No doubt about it. That should be chaos power, and it most likely belongs to Big Shadow Xeseon," Strange confidently said.
The symbionts looked at each other and asked, "Big Shadow Xeseon? This name sounds familiar, but we've never seen him. Who is he? Why is he surrounding our mother star?"
Strange looked up at the ceiling in admiration, Shiller counted the wood grains on the table, Nick turned his head to search for dust on the window, Loki studied the metal on the armrests with her head tilted, but Stark shook his head. Evidently, his moral threshold was somewhat higher than theirs.
To understand why Big Shadow Xeseon decided to surround Klinter Star, we must start from the incident when Nal started to serve dishes.
It's well known that Nal is one of the oldest beings in the cosmos. The chaos power he uses is an origin power of the cosmos. Of course, even though he is a user of chaos power, he is not the owner. Besides him, some Demon Gods also use this power, such as Big Shadow Xeseon.
Despite many failures in terms of combat performance, Xeseon was once called a "cancer" by Eternity, one of the top five gods in the cosmos, which indicates his high level of existence.
In essence, Nal and Xeseon are the biggest users of the chaos power in the cosmos. But where Xeseon outpaces Nal is that he is quite shrewd; that's why he chose the Scarlet Witch as his representative on Earth.
Previously, Xeseon was in a deep sleep. But as he slept, he felt his mattress sinking. This wasn't enough to wake him, but suddenly one day, "pop!", his house collapsed.
Xeseon woke in a shock, only to discover that a corner of his house had been dug away.
Here he was, sleeping soundly, just to wake up and find his house had caved in. How could Xeseon not be angry? He walked a round around his house, determined to find the bastard who had undermined his walls.
But as he did so, he noticed a major problem - the bastard who had undermined his walls had not only dug the walls but had also taken down a whole side wall, Xeseon found the chaos power of the cosmos had significantly diminished, leaving him utterly bemused.
It is necessary to introduce the property of the cosmic origin power here. There are many types of origin power in the cosmos, each with different properties. Some power is very active, therefore used by many people, while others are quite lazy, and as such, it is hard to utilize it unless it is one's innate power.
The representative of inert power in the cosmos is the Power of Deep Red in the Crimson Dimension where Setorak resides. This is a type of power that is slow in formation and change. Although it's powerful, it isn't very active, thereby making Setorak spend most of his time sleeping.
Chaos power also belongs to a type of inert power, but it's not as idle as the Power of Deep Red. Hence, a group of beings can utilize it. But because it's fairly lazy, it's almost impossible for it to diminish greatly all of a sudden. After all, very few individuals use it, so the natural depletion is less as well.
But one whole wall of Xeseon's house had disappeared out of thin air, leaving him perplexed. He hadn't been sleeping long, the last time he woke was to bestow chaos power to the Scarlet Witch, it has just been a few days - how could his house be gone? Even a bulldozer is not that quick?!
The first thing Xeseon did was gather information from other Demon Gods on recent events in the cosmos, and then he heard of the name "Holy Sanctuary".
The Holy Sanctuary was conveniently located in the home town of Scarlet Witch, his representative on earth. Therefore, he ventured to Scarlet Witch's dream, urging Wanda to hurry and determine what happened to the wall of his house.
The Scarlet Witch had been dreaming every day, seeing Xeseon's face in her dreams, and she was getting annoyed by Xeseon, so she had to make the trip. Then, she went to Holy Sanctuary and asked Strange that question.
Of course, acting out of gentlemanly spirit, Strange thought it was too bothersome to have the Scarlet Witch go back and forth, so the Holy Sanctuary sent a mage to deliver a mobile phone to Xeseon.
As to how Xeseon found out about Nal in the end, Strange wasn't too clear. Perhaps Xeseon inherently possessed detective talents, or perhaps being under pressure has elicited great wisdom in Xeseon…
Anyhow, there was no way that Strange could have dispatched Bald, the telephone operator.
