Chapter 031: City of Lost souls- part one.

The world dissolved into dust and debris around me, leaving me weak and disoriented. I stumbled away from the wreckage, my eyes frantically searching for any landmarks that might tell me where I was. My fingers brushed against the jagged edge of a broken wall. Was this Thomas's doing?

With a shaky breath, I pushed myself through the opening, and a gasp escaped my lips. The sky above was shrouded in an eerie grey mist, devoid of any sun or moon. It wasn't lifeless, but the life it held was a twisted mockery, offering tickets to death instead of hope.

As I cautiously took a step forward, a blinding light flashed in my face. I flinched, squeezing my eyes shut against the sudden assault. When I finally opened them, a screen of light shimmered before me, displaying cryptic information in an almost familiar font. It resembled the server, but something felt different, more pervasive.
