T-5 Days to Incident
#Mt. Virgil
While Cacey was on her adventure, Tom reached the Mt. Virgil bus stop. It was a bit of a gloomy, overcast condition. The sun hid its face behind a thick, off-white cloud. The fog hung in the air. He did not know if it was natural. He felt cold and his body was shivering. What he experienced in that graveyard shook her existence. There were not many people at the bus stop. He wrapped his hand around his shoulders and started massaging to make his body warm. It was not working.
"Inside a bus could be a good refuge,” he thought.
A few moments later, his bus came—number 334. A shivering Tom quickly alighted the bus and paid the fare by swapping his school travel card. “Thank you, sir!” He politely thanked the bus driver as he nodded. The whole bus was almost empty. So he took a comfortable seat in the middle. The journey would be less jittery in this position, as it was away from both the front and back suspensions.
