Chapter 157

Yvonne went to Mrs. Greenly's office. The encounter with Helen was very amusing. But now she's angry; will she take her anger out on Ezra? Before she entered the office, she brought out her phone and texted Ezra. "Helen is very angry. I'm sorry for what you might go through in her hands." 

She put away her phone before she knocked on the door. Upon hearing a muffled "Come in," she entered. Mrs. Greenly looked up from her desk, her eyes curious but stern. 

"Mrs. Greenly, I don't know what happened to Helen," Yvonne began, her voice firm. "She sent me out without any explanation." 

Mrs. Greenly's expression shifted to one of mild annoyance. "What did you do to make her send you out?" 

"I don't know what I did, but she just sent me out," she said. "I can't do my job if she won't cooperate."
