Ezra's eyes widened in astonishment as he heard it. Such a move seemed out of character for Yvonne. He thought it would be good if she did it, but he doubted she could do something like this.
"Do you know where her mother is?" Yvonne said, her fingers tapping on the table's surface.
"In a hospital, I heard when she was talking with someone about her mother, but I don't know which hospital she is," he replied, his gaze meeting Yvonne's.
Yvonne was taken aback. She had believed Helen's mother had recovered. How had she fallen ill again?
She does not care how sick her mother is, but she still wants to see her.
"Find out which hospital, and tell me," she instructed.
"Should I do it for you?" he offered. "So that it won't come back at you,"
"No, I will do it myself," she asserted.
Ezra nodded. "Alright,"
"I think that's all for now," she concluded.
