"What did you mean by family?" Sillian asked.

The girl in front of her seemed surprised by the question when she spoke, "Oh, the professor hasn't taught about that yet, huh? Well, let me take this opportunity to introduce myself too."

"I'm Amanda Salay. My family has recently gained prominence, so we're tiny compared to a family like the Marcarrons." After finishing her introduction, Amanda held the edge of her skirt and bowed to Sillian.

"Salay? I think I've heard my parents talk about you..." Sillian said, extending her hand. "Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine," Amanda said, smiling as she shook Sillian's hand.

"So...there was supposed to be a fight happening here, right?" Edward spoke, sitting on the floor beside Amelin.

"It happens a lot with Sillian. People always try to strike up a conversation with her, and you probably already know why," Amelin said, moving closer to Edward.
