Two Events

Outside the greenhouse, a little distance away, perched on one of the fruit trees planted there, was Amelin. She sat on a branch, her right hand fingers crossed and resting on her thigh, while her eyes subtly shimmered. "So, the rumor about the biology class was true... I didn't expect to see Professor Elivian act like that."

Amelin's gaze shifted from the professor to Edward, observing him with rapt attention as he listened to Elivian. "Oh, I didn't expect to see that; he really enjoyed it."

Suddenly, the subtle glow that Amelin had noticed flickering on Edward's head appeared again, but this time, it was stronger. "Again? Wait... Ah..." Amelin sighed as she watched the glow disappear.

"What could have happened?" Amelin seemed sad as she pondered this, recalling the first serious conversation she had with Edward. "It doesn't seem to be something bad, so it's better to wait... He'll end up talking about it sooner or later."
