From the rumors, Chris felt that there was something wrong with both the Overlord Guild and the Thunder Guild. They both knew about the auction and blocked the news about it.

This was something that should have happened in his early days at the Thunder Guild, so he didn't remember it but with his high INT value, he remembers almost everything, it's only a matter of finding the memory fragment that was buried deep inside and associating with another memory fragment.

There is no way that only those two knew and the information was blocked for such a long time. Added to that the rumors appeared exactly about the same time.

If it was anybody else, they might think that these two rivals are outdoing each other. They would only assume that both kept that each other was going to the auction a secret so that the other wouldn't sabotage the other but in the end, both were going.
