Harrow immediately took Chris to a VIP room, from which Chris could watch the auction and place his bids. The VIP rooms are especially reserved for top-class people, who wouldn't like to show themselves out in public.

As a top auction house, VIPs are at the bottom of the top-class people. There are VVIPs too, who are Diamond Card Holders. VIPs are for Platinum Card holders but as the manager of the auction house, Harrow can assign a few members to the VIP rooms.

The other three cardholders would have to sit in the open theatre, where the VIPs and VVIPs would sit behind dark glass rooms, which would obscure their faces from others. Unless they know their voices from bidding, it won't be easy to determine who was in those rooms.

Even though they don't know, no one would be foolish enough to actively do things that could irritate the people in those rooms. They wouldn't even think about that. If they do so, it would mean that only death awaits them.
