When he saw the system prompt, Chris didn't know what to do.
When someone achieves something marvelous, the system announces the achievement to the world. The issue was that it depended on whether the player wants or not.
There are three choices available here for the player, though the system showed only two.
The player can choose to not reveal his achievement to the world or announce with their player name or be Anonymous. Depending on the choice they make, they would earn a reward. These rewards are Social Rewards, unlike normal rewards.
If he announces the dungeon completion, everyone would know about him and it could fast-track the timeline which is not good for him. Moreover, if he publishes his name, he will become a target. Announcing their achievements this early in the game is pure stupidity.
He needed some time to consolidate his power and only then would he be able to make use of the fame that comes with the announcement.
"System, I chose to be Anonymous", he said, deciding that it was the best approach. He was already losing a few rewards for choosing this. The best was to publish his name but would become a target for many.
[You chose to announce your accomplishment but decided to be anonymous.]
[You have been awarded, +50 Reputation, and +1% favorability with all NPCs.]

[Ding! congratulations to Player [Anonymous] for clearing a goblin dungeon in nightmare mode for the first time.]
[Ding! congratulations to Player [Anonymous] for clearing a goblin dungeon in nightmare mode for the first time.]
[Ding! congratulations to Player [Anonymous] for clearing a goblin dungeon in nightmare mode for the first time.]
The announcement was broadcast three times on the World Channel. When the announcement was made, it evoked various emotions from the players across the globe.
"It wasn't even an hour since the game opened and someone has already cleared a dungeon?"
"What, a dungeon conquered and that too in nightmare mode?"
"Who was the god that achieved the feat?"
Various comments flooded the world channel. Many were impressed and became his fans but not everyone. Some were envious of his feat and some were angry that he claimed the achievement before they could.
A young boy, smashed the almost dead monster with all his strength, turning it into a confetti, "How dare he? How dare that bastard take what should have been mine?"
This is how the world works. They look down on you if you are weak. They envy you if you are strong.
The one that set the commotion was not bothered by the comments that appeared in the world channels. He was more interested in the Silver and Golden Box that were awarded to him, more than anything.

"Accepting to publish my feat gave such meagre rewards. Maybe it was due to the dungeon being a newbie dungeon. I shouldn't have published my accomplishment. That way not many would have learned about the fact.
Now there would be many who are on outlook for an easy earn. Those scumbags would always target the ones who come out of the dungeons or stalk other players until they get tired from the fights. It was then they would strike and gain the benefits that didn't belong to them.
Luckily, the announcement wouldn't mean that the dungeon's position would be revealed. I should check the boxes and leave this area as soon as possible. Those bastards should have started prowling".
"Now let's see which to open. Let's start with the Silver Box. System, open the Silver Box".
[Ding!]
[You have acquired 100 Gold Coins, White Crystal (Uncommon).]
[White Crystal: Used in the creation of a Mage's Staff. This crystal has no attribute and every magic spell would get a buff effect of 10% when using a staff that was embedded with the White Crystal.]
"100 gold coins and a white crystal in a silver box. Is it because of luck? These are pretty good rewards. Let's see what the golden box contains". Chris's mind was in the hype state, with his winnings from the Silver Box.
"Open the Golden Box"
[Ding!]
[You have acquired a Sub-Class Scroll (S)]
[Sub-Class Scroll (S): Use the scroll to obtain a sub-class of S-grade. One has to be level 20 or above to use the scroll.]
"This is too much even for me. Sure I got a lot of luck but the pies kept falling from the skies. They won't fall for free. What was the price?" he wondered.
"I hope it won't be anything serious", he consoled himself and left the dungeon. Staying here would cause him too many problems. He can now go to the city and he has to, only then would be able to implement his plans for a better future and revenge. He was right about one thing. There is nothing free in this existence. Everything comes with strings attached. Every action has a consequence that follows it, which he would learn about, sooner or later.
Whether it was a good or not, only time will tell.
