Indeed, Shane knew these Monster Spitters as he fought against them before. They were Zombies stronger or at the same level as Chief Spitter Zombies.

Their bloated bodies were somehow agile… They moved steadily with their acid sacs that bulged ominously. It was even quite difficult to see whether they were about to spit an acid, unlike the normal Spitter Zombies.

Because of that, it wasn't easy to predict their next attack…

"Fall back!" Captain Wei ordered. His voice was urgent as these Monster Spitters were the real reason he didn't want to fight against the Spitter Zombies.

This area shouldn't be too dangerous with Liang's portable barrier generator. However, with the presence of the Monster Spitters, they could only choose another path or fight their way out of here.

"We need to get out of here before those things get here. Let's try again after they leave or use the longest path."
