Gaia and the hands of creation.

"Mother..."

Miriel, the ancestor of the world of Terra, the second being to be created, one who should have no mother nor father, called out to the person that had appeared, their appearance obscured by a bright yet unblinding green light. Their whole body was engulfed in green light, making them look like a green silhouette.

I don't know who she was trying to fool, as I could clearly tell who she was: Gaia, the overseer of the world of Terra, a primordial goddess who saw the creation of the world, from the quartz in an atom to the largest creature, the leviathan, a divine creature that roams the sea.

"I will take care of him, my child. You should rest," a soothing motherly voice echoed from the green silhouette, causing Miriel to lose consciousness.

She fell onto the water, laying on it like a soft bed, right beside Alfher, who also lay atop the water, not sinking despite their mass and density.
