Woof!! The shadow wolf pointed its nose at the jackalopes, the target of their hunt.

" I figured, ok, lead the way " He mentally prepared himself, ready for combat.

Howl!! Howl!! Howl!! Howl!! Howl!! Howl!!

The shadow wolves jumped out of hiding, howling to scare off the weaker beast as their target was the jackalopes, the leaders of the family of beasts here.

BLEAT!! BLEAT!!

The jackolopoes present stood their ground making sure all the other beasts had gotten to safety.

Unsurprisingly the younger jacolopes left with the lot as they were new to combat.

The shadow wolves, who had no need of the weaker beasts, did not chase after them. Instead, they bared their fangs at the twelve jackalopes that stayed behind, a pretense to get their attention.
