Valley of the Dead Visit (2)

Even the green lanterns hanging to the mountain's surface above one of the Defence Forces couldn't show the sleepless eyes hiding behind the shadows of his eye sockets. "Like I am seeing five Blue Forces who are friends of Robert Milo!"

The five in blue leisurely kept walking until they stood before the one who greeted them.

"Defenders of Royalty Pack's safety. The backbone of our peace, I also greet you warmly. Long time." The Disguise Gifted greeted in a friendly voice. Averting his eyes from him, Max took note of some few of the Defend Forces standing about with stoic expressions.

The Defence Force folded his bulky arms on his chest. "Yeah. I don't think everything is alright..."

"Because nothing right comes after seeing those in blue." Another Defence Force interrupted, his voice deeper than the darkness of an old well, his eyes looking at Max with suspicion.

"That sounds the opposite." The Disguise Gifted grinned and friendly rubbed the back of his head. "Uh, Robert has a feeling that the grave guard can help him with some information pertaining to a murder that happened about a hundred year ago. Being a busy man, he sent us on his behalf."

Silently, the Defence Force frowned deeply, making the palpitating hearts of the mission team to skip some beats. "Robert Robert. You make me feel like crying. Come on, a hundred year old murder?" He sounded confused and tired like saying, "Robert is a pain in the ass".

"Please keep going." Another matured Defence Force chimed in from a corner. "But watch out, let the graves guard not eat your dead mouths." He joked dryly as he continued standing like a statue. There was no smile on his face, and he was not even looking at them.

Having been permitted to keep moving, the mission team left the Defence Forces and the green light of the bright lanterns behind them, now walking in total darkness. It was like when Max moved in the underground tunnel leading to the Royal Castle, the time he caused the deaths of over thirty Blue Forces.

'Hmm... Who knows what happened to those Gold's five assassins. Whatever their circumstance might be, I am the cause and the main aim was not even achieved with that. Then who is at fault? Me, Lucas or Penelope?'

They have passed the Defence Forces with no menace, therefore, the team could now shift their forms. All of them chose the Primordial form. The four Werewolves now had their five senses enhanced, but their speed was forced to be slower than they could output because of the Vampire among them.

Even though Max was only 50% less faster than average Diurnal Vampires, these four Werewolves were incredible in the aspect of fastness. But that fact wasn't what bothered Max but instead, the fact that he was running without his feet touching the floor bothered him more.

'I am not running. I am gliding.'

And it felt like fantasy.

But he was still slower.

Surely speeding down a steep slope, after a very long time, the fast sounds produced by the shoes and paws of the mission team changed from rough grindings to mild clappings. As the air also became damp, Max could tell that they were completely out of Royalty Pack. If not, then they were probably close to doing that because there were no gravels on the ground's surface.

The surrounding rocks began pressing and pressing their path that the five had to move one in front of the other;

Not slowing down that they ran like racing wolves;

The faint green light in the distance turned into a bright light;

And soon, they entered the first part of the Valley of the Dead;

'And it is damn b, e, a-utiful.'

And in succession, the Blue Forces shifted to their human/Bravo form after entering the green brightness. Their clothes returned neat, and they started sharing some words through their mind link. Meanwhile, Max admired his surroundings.

He wasn't a fan of anime but nevertheless, he thought, 'This place feels like a spiritual anime realm.' due to the beauty of plants and big mushrooms that were emitting green glow. Most of the plants were simply like fat sticks that had white brushes on top of them, but they were not even close to being as thicker as the big pillars slates that connected the surface of the dome and its flora rich ground.

"Hey slave, get ready to use your Gift very soon." The Heat Gifted said to Max before he joined the rest walking. With a moody face, Max followed behind him, the aggressive feeling all of a sudden washing over him again. As they walked through a series of rocky pillars, the mind of the Vampire whispered nothing apart from in how many ways he could kill the Werewolf who tortured his back in the morning.

'Strange. I am not someone who loves revenge no matter the sin. So why? Why is my bloodlust so high.' Max thought worriedly. Since the Vampire System was showing him nothing, he wanted to check [ Pending Notifications ] and see what was wrong with him. Opening the System, seeing among the people he was, checking what [ Dualbloom ] felt better to him. Therefore he started slowing down his pace until he thought: 'Summon Void Emotion.'

[ Your Royalty, you have successfully summoned Void Emotion ]

'Nullity.'

[ You are using Void Emotion's Character Ability, 'Blink' ]

The four Blue Forces were consumed in their conversations, therefore Max who was moving behind them had the advantage of vanishing without anyone noticing. Nevertheless Void Emotion was Green Fibered, it was strangely taking longer when he Blinked.

Suddenly, his figure close to one of the pillars appeared far behind the four of them. 'It is time to see what fucking curse the Blood Fiend forms can do.' Max thought with anticipation of nothing good in his voice.

'Dismiss.'

[ You have successfully dismissed the weapon 'Void Emotion' ]

After selecting some few options, a red notification rose in front of Max's iris:

[ UNLOCKED FORMS ]

[ Dualbloom ]

Choosing the [ Dualbloom ] form, a picture of the Blood Fiend called Antaf appeared filling the screen of the Vampire System. It was time to shift into the Blood Fiend form. Again.
