Dobby began to bargain hard with Ethan, "Mr. Ethan, Dobby likes freedom, but Dobby doesn't need so much freedom. I prefer work to freedom!"
After some hard bargaining, Dobby finally achieved his goal, successfully reducing his salary to one Galleon a week; Dobby cheered for his colossal victory.
"Mr. Ethan, where are we going to start working?" Dobby can't wait to get to work right now, as if to repay Ethan's "high salary" for a Monday Galleon
"We have to go somewhere before work starts," Ethan said to Dobby with a smile.
"Let Dobby take Mr. Ethan! Dobby can Apparate!" Dobby suggested himself, holding up his hands.
"Okay, please take me to Xenophilius Lovegood's house," Ethan said to Dobby.
"Okay, Mr. Ethan," Dobby said, taking Ethan's hand and gently snapping his fingers.
Ethan felt the darkness around him, and the familiar feeling returned. His chest seemed to be tightly restrained by several iron hoops, his eyeballs were squeezed back into his head, and his eardrums were pressed into the depths of his skull.
Fortunately, this feeling didn't last too long, and when the light returned to the surroundings, Ethan had already arrived at a strange place.
Ethan was still unaccustomed to this feeling, so he clutched his chest and coughed twice.
"Are you all right, Mr. Ethan?" Dobby asked worriedly, and Ethan waved his hand to indicate he was fine.
Ethan and Dobby stood on the top of a small hill, surrounded by low hills, and a grotesque house stood like a vast black column against the blue sky.
"This is Xenophilius Lovegood's house, Mr. Ethan," said Dobby.
Dobby and Ethan climbed to the top of the mountain together, and when they reached the top, they were greeted by a gate with a black grid.
Three handwritten signs hang on the courtyard gate.
The first piece reads: "The Quibbler" Editor-in-Chief: Xenophilius Lovegood.
The second piece reads: Please pick your bunch of mistletoe.
The third piece reads: Don't touch the airship Lee.
Ethan pushed open the door, and there was an unpleasant creaking sound from the door.
The zigzag paths were lined with exotic plants, and one bush was full of the orange-red radish-shaped fruits that Luna sometimes wore as earrings.
Ethan also saw a pimple vine. As long as the sap of this plant touches a person's body, the skin will immediately grow red, swollen, and painful, and it will take a long time to disappear.
I don't know why such terrible things are planted in Luna's house's yard. To prevent accidents, Ethan hurriedly avoided the dangerous plants.
Two old begonia trees, bent by the wind, flanked the front door. Their leaves had fallen off but were still covered with small red berries and a large canopy of mistletoe corollas with white beads.
From a branch, a small owl with a flat-headed, somewhat hawk-like head peeked out at Ethan.
Ethan walked to Luna's house. The door looked very heavy, with iron dowels embedded in it and an eagle knocker.
The reason Luna had an eagle knocker was probably because both father and daughter graduated from Ravenclaw.
Ethan knocked on the door thrice, and it didn't take long to open it.
A slightly odd-looking wizard appeared in front of Ethan. He was a little cross-eyed. He was barefoot, wearing what seemed to be long stained pajamas, and his long, marshmallow-like white hair was dirty and dirty. Chaos.
Remarkably, he wore a gold chain around his neck with a quirky symbol flashing, much like a triangular eye, which Ethan knew was the Deathly Hallows sign.
"Are you Mr. Xenophilius Lovegood?" Ethan asked.
Xenophilius Lovegood seemed to doubt Ethan's unfamiliar face, frowned, and looked at Ethan for a while before replying.
"Yes, I'm Xenophilius Lovegood. You are a reader of The Quibbler, and I can give you two copies with my autograph." Xenophilius Lovegood muttered. When I got there, I wanted to turn around to get the book.
"I'm a professor at Hogwarts. Is Luna at home?" Ethan asked politely.
Mr. Lovegood seemed surprised that the Hogwarts professor would come to his house. He turned his head to look at Ethan seriously and suddenly smiled.
"Welcome, Professor Ethan; Luna often tells me about you; please come in!" Mr. Lovegood let Ethan enter his house; only then did he realize that Dobby was following behind Ethan.
"How are you, Mr. House Elf? Are you also a professor at Hogwarts? Come in!" Mr. Lovegood also warmly invited Dobby into the house.
Dobby, who seemed to have never been treated with such warmth and a little reserved, returned Mr. Lovegood with an embarrassed and polite smile.
"I'm so glad you came to see Luna. Professor Ethan, the Weasley girl playing with Luna this holiday, has gone to Egypt, so Luna has been alone—I'll call her now."
Mr. Lovegood said to Ethan.
"Luna! Come over here! You've visitors!" cried Mr. Lovegood.
"Okay! Dad! I'll come down now!" Luna shouted from upstairs, and then Luna's footsteps came downstairs.
During this time, Ethan observed Luna's home.
The room is a standard round shape and feels like being in a giant pepper shaker.
Everything, including the stove, sink, and cupboards, is curved to match the walls and painted in vibrant primary colors with flowers, insects, and birds.
Ethan suspects that the house was designed by Luna because there is a strong "Luna style" everywhere.
A cast-iron spiral staircase led upstairs in the center of the room, and Luna was running down from it. When she came downstairs, she saw Ethan standing in the doorway.
"Professor Ethan!" Luna exclaimed in surprise.
Then Luna ran towards Ethan quickly. She rushed into Ethan's arms like a cannonball and gave Ethan a big hug. Luna was full of the good smell of sunflowers.
Ethan smiled and patted Luna's long, pale blond hair, and Luna giggled in her arms.
Luna left Ethan's arms and found Dobby standing on the side. ' Luna said happily, then stretched out her hand to shake Dobby's.
Dobby grew even more disturbed; he had never been entertained like this before, so he held out his hand and shook Luna carefully.
Mr. Lovegood seemed very happy to see Luna so happy, and he smiled at all this.
"If you have anything, come in and tell me. I'll make coffee for everyone," Mr. Lovegood said happily, taking Ethan and Dobby to his house.
