Sword Practice

"Oh Amber! Good morning!" Klee greeted the outrider then, noticing Shimmer, "Who is your friend?" She asked.

Turning to look at Shimmer, Amber crossed her arms, "Friend is a strong word, I met her five minutes ago and decided to follow me." She explained, recalling exactly how it went.

Sibley turned to Shimmer and smiled slightly, "I wish I had your mental stability right after becoming a member of M.L.E." She said, rememberng how broken down she was about having died.

"Tell me this one isn't a lolicon." Diona requested, actually wanting them to say no since one is already enough.

Shimmer gave Sibley a side glance while Akemi appeared and smirked at her partner, "I thought you were joking..." Shimmer told the spirit.

Akemi laughed in response, "She's as perverted as they come!" She confirmed, "If you want I can show you a few picturs so any doubt is cleared." She offered, but quickly got smacked with Cryo.

"Do that and I promise I wont be considered liable for my actions..." Diona warned to which Klee nodded, and as the Acting Grandmaster, that said a whole lot.

At this point, Shimmer just looked confused, since it looked like they knew eachother for a long time, "Im sorry,, but how and when did you get those pictures?" She asked Sibley.

The Divine Fury looked away at that, "Oh you know... Places and times..." She replied, clearly avoiding the question, "What does it matter to you?" She asked back.

Letting out a sigh, Shimmer looked at Klee, "How did you get that scar?" She asked, wanting to change the subject.

Klee poked the scarred part of her face, "An accident with one of my bombs." She explained simply, "There's a reason I make them out of pure Pyro nowdays." She added, thinking about how much more under control they are.

The Pyro part Shimmer wonder if she would be getting a vision some day, so she decided to ask Seraphim, "Can you confirm I will get a vision some day?" She thought, waiting to get an answer.

A second later, "Yes, you will indeed get a vision some day Shimmer, I'm not aware of which, but you will." Seraphim confirmed, making everyone else look confused.

It didn't go unnoticed, "Wait, you can hear it?" Shimmer asked and everyone else nodded in response, "You know Shiva Samba, right?" She started, causing Sibley and Akemi to let out a noise in understanding.

"Right, the reincarnation thing." Sibley said, remembering that it was a something Shiva Samba was planning out, "I told her the system was a little bit cliché, so she came up with this to monitor one's self." She rationalized, thinking of her own, for a lack of a better word, voice in the head.

Amber, Klee, and Diona looked at Shimmer, "So you'll get a vision." Amber repeated what Seraphim, "I suggest you practice with a delusion first though." She explained, knowing it's much easier to master.

Hearing delusion made Shimmer frown a bit, "Aren't those dangerous? I know people die from them." She pointed out, "Also how do you know about delusions?" She asked confused.

In response, Klee pulled out a Cryo delusion, Diona pulled out a Hydro delusion, and Amber pulled out a Geo delusion, "After the Fatui turned from criminal to regular organization, they asked Albedo to help fix the side effects of delusions, and now they're sold regularly." Diona explained.

"Interesting~" Shimmer said considering getting one, but then she remembered, "I don't have any Mora though." She pointed out.

Sibley placed her hand on Shimmer's shoulder, "Delusions are pretty costly, you should focus on getting a weapon first." She suggested, "Klee, think Kaeya can help her practice?" She asked.

Knight of Favonius Training Grounds.

"When I woke up today, I wasn't expecting to be teaching an outerworlder how to fight." Kaeya commented, looking at Shimmer slashing at a training dummy, "Your form is good, but you need to loosen your shoulders." He instructed, noticing that Shimmer's shoulders were really tense.

Sibley, who was sitting by, responded "I wasn't expecting to anything that happened twenty years ago, but here we are."

As the training continued, Seraphim started speaking "Try balancing what you need, if you need to fight an armored adversary, focus on strength, if you need to fight a nimble adversary, focus on speed." It instructed.

"What was that?" Kaeya wondered, not having heard Seraphim before, "That kind of reminds of someone..." He thought, remembering he already saw something similar.

Wanting to test out a strength focused swing, Shimmer put all her weight in her arm and then striked, cutting the dummy in half and also making a cut in the wall.

The display made everyone quiet down as Shimmer looked at the damage she caused and just smiled before saying "Huh, neat."
