"Yes, Alpha Devon. My apologies for pulling you out rather than coming down myself. I just didn't want to take any chances with them." She explained.

"Next time you want someone to deliver a message to me, make sure it's not Candice," I warned. "I don't fancy having her around the castle. It makes Olivia uncomfortable."

Susan's face held a surprise. It was a pleasant surprise and she nodded too quickly. Once that was settled, I left the clinic. I didn't find Candice around when I was leaving but I made my way straight to the pack house to meet the soldiers training. I was surprised when I found them gathered at one point, everyone was trying to speak at the same time.

My first reaction was to call them to order, but then I decided to first find out what it was that they were staring at with such a focus that they could not even notice me come in.
