Duel “Merlin” Part II

“Oh well, whatever…”

Joker said. He turned around to face the opponent before him. He cast his gaze forward as he called a card to his right hand.

“Who has the time to worry about such a thing right now?”

It was not a common occurrence at all, facing a summoner of this level in such a big venue. And Joke wouldn’t let that nonsensical burden sap the fun out of his duel.

It seemed Merlin had the same idea as well. Otherwise, he wouldn’t stoop down to join a B-rank tournament like this one… The reason was simple. It was merely two summoners wanting to fight with all their strength.

The Judge looked around for a final checkup before raising both hands. In that fraction of a moment, the audience held their breaths.
