“If you think that captain or vice-captain has the duty to win every match, then you’re undervaluing your role a bit too much. Also, I don’t think everyone else wants you to be vice-captain just because you have the skill. Isn’t it because of your ability to care about others around you that makes you the best choice for this role?”

Rin said nothing in return. She knew that Wolf was trying to console her. Still, today was the day that she acted unworthily of her role. The mistake that she made had caused too much damage to the team.

“I should have done better. I should have known that they had something up their sleeves, and yet I went out to fight like that. Who knows, if it had been Kaew, we might have already won.”

A light chuckle escaped his mouth. Rin turned to discreetly glare at him when she heard that.
