Why face Jack? 1: Better facing him than some fodder.. 2: He is actually present in Wano 3: Same age and around the same power as Momo 4: Open the doors for future interactions between the two further down the line. Just thought it would be cool.. Voila And Why stay in Wano? 1: No boat 2: New World's seas very dangerous. 3: NW in general very dangerous. 4: Doesn't want to go out without at least armament Haki. 5: Has allies in Wano that can train him. I mean, I understand quitting Wano to get far away from Kaido and Orochi.. But at the end of the day. Even if you flee, there is a lot of thing to worry about in the new world too. so.. The two choices have their pros and cons, I guess.
