"So, how things going on at Midar Range," Kell asked Ian, who sport a sour look.

The brunette looked at Kell with a serious look, "We need to talk,"

"So, what you are saying is that there is a possible group targeting us?" Kell asked in disbelief.

"Considering the man I killed carry something that allow them to attract monsters, then, yes, I don't think there is any other possibilities," he replied.

"Hhm, this is worrying, why do you think we suddenly get targeted for?" Kell asked Ian, who merely shrugged.

"Don't asked me, I just learn this now. But we need to keep a close watch on everyone else. But don't tell them yet, as they might try to look and scared them away," Ian said, earning a nod from Kell.

"Understood, so what is our plan?" the leader asked the strategist.

"We will go on living our lives like usual. At the same time, we will keep a close eyes on those people if they are close. Other than that, there is nothing we can do as we don't really know much of the city and it's people," Ian answered.

"Good plan for now. Try to see if you can capture one of them alive if you find them. After all, there is no telling what they are going to do in the future so we need as many information as possible," Kell reply.

The two then exchanged nods as they went back to the others, eager to celebrate a good night rest.

"Sir, the man we sent at Midar Range dies, and we lost the Monster Attracting Serum," a cloaked man said, giving his report to a man in black, who growled, crushing the glass in his hands.

"Curses it! Do we manage to kill at least any of them?" the black clothed man asked

"No boss, they all come back alive, though their strength is far greater than regular Bronze rank adventurers. They kill a lot of golems, Mountain Goblins and Mountain Orcs from all the corpses we found," the cloaked man reported.

"They are strong, but we will overwhelm them with the might of our group. Send people to harass them whenever they are inside the city. We cannot hope to take them outside of it anytime soon," the boss said.

The cloaked man bowed before leaving the room.

The man growled as his subordinate left, "Soon,"

The next day, the boss awaited the good news. When the cloaked man return, the boss asked, "So, did the boys harassed them.,"

"No sir," the cloaked man shook his head, "They went outside the town again, so we cannot complete the plan," the boss growled before asking again.

"What about their lodging? They must live somewhere. If they are staying at an inn used our group name to terrify them to kick those pesky adventurers out, or just triple the price," the man ordered.

"About that, they live inside the lodging provided by the adventure guild," the cloaked man reported. To which the boss looked at him with wide eyes.

"The expensive one?" the cloaked man nodded, "They rent a house from the adventure guild and you knew what happen if we barge in," the boss shuddered.

"You don't have to remind me," the boss exclaimed, remembering what happened to some of group that try to break into the houses. In the end, the group was destroyed. Not even the influence behind them could protect themselves as the Adventure Guild is out for blood that day, ending several factions behind the criminal group.

"Then, what is our plan for now?" the cloaked man asked.

"We are going to try harrass them without letting them knew of who is targeting them, less the Adventure Guild will demands our skin. Keep an eye on them for now. They should not go on adventurimg everyday,"

"Hello ladies, you seem to be lonely," Ana, Lisa and Fiona turn to meet the guy who trying to hit on them.

The man gave them a lecherous look, with two of his pals looking at them the same way.

"How about we give you a little tour on life?" the one who spoke before said, giving them a smile that supposed to be enchanting, but merely make them feel disgusted.

To their collective surprise, the men and the girls, Ana return the smile and even stroke the man's arm.

"Sure, but let's get away from here first. I want to see how much of a man you are," the man's eyes seemed to shine before following her, the rest following the two people at the front.

-x-

"Wait, this is not what we are talking about- Ah!"

 "No, please have mer- Urk!"

 "Help, someone help- Argh!"

After some more screaming and begging, the alley went quiet as the girls exited the place, looking completely fine.

"Next time, pick someone not out of your league," Ana said outloud, leaving the three thugs on the ground, bruised and beaten up to a pulp.

They merely groan in pain, unable to say anything else.

-x-

"What, they all beaten up?" the boss said in disbelief. The people he hired to act as thugs are all Bronze rank adventurers and so, should be able to handle three girls at Bronze rank.

Yet reality is cruel. All of his hired men were beaten up easily, and by a single person from the look of things.

"Hhm, in that case, we will attack the weaker ones. There are mages in the group, right?" the boss tried to confirm it.

 "Yes, boss," the boss nodded.

 "In that case, threatened them,"

-x-

 "Boss, well..."

"What happened?" for some reason, the leader feel something bad happened.

"Our men were beaten to a pulp once more," the cloaked men embraced for upcoming yelling.

"WHAT!? I sent more of them on purpose!" the boss yelled.

"They try to corner one of the mage. The fighter noticed, and well, he buried them until the neck,"

The boss looked in disbelief as he digested the news. The man shook his head. "It's alright, on fact, we can use this,"

"Try to frame this accident as an adventurer causing trouble. We can send them to jail for that alone,"

-x-

"Boss, our men were sent to jail," the cloaked man reported before taking out a shield he had brought to the meeting.

"WHAT?!" the boss yelled, the cloaked man merely let it happen as he let his boss released his anger.

"The mage is a very good lawyer and was able to improsined our men, and also reveal that a part of the guard is under our pay, forcing them to be improsined themselves," the boss went silent as he heard what his man told him.

He soon come to a conclusion that might save his life, "Dont get involve with them. I am pretty sure at this point if we do anything else, we will be destroyed. Focus on the alchemist instead,"

 "Understood, boss,"
