"Yes, that's correct. The blizzards on Dragonspine have recently weakened, attracting a large number of adventurers to explore the area. Consequently, they discovered dangerous elemental beings actively attacking people, so it's essential to locate and eliminate them as soon as possible," Jean explained, rubbing her temples with two slender fingers, looking a bit worried.
"Got it! Leave it to us, Captain Jean. We'll complete the task smoothly!" Amber promised with a big smile, patting her chest with confidence.
"Hmph, just don't overwork yourself! If you collapse, who am I supposed to seek revenge on?" Eula remarked, noticing how fatigued Jean looked—likely from working late again. It was her way of expressing concern.
"Thank you, Eula," Jean replied with a gentle smile.
"Wh-Who's concerned about you, you idiot from the Gunnhildr family! I just don't want to be left without a target for my vengeance, that's all!" Eula huffed, crossing her arms under her ample chest, her snowy skin faintly visible through the thin, dark fabric.
"Haha, well then, we'll get going, Captain Jean. Expect good news soon!" Nolan said, chuckling at Eula's adorable display before reassuring Jean.
"Thank you, and please be careful. If you run into trouble, Albedo has set up a temporary camp on Dragonspine; he might be able to help you. He's been conducting research there," Jean noted, feeling reassured by Nolan's experience from his past feats in Liyue.

"Right then, Eula, Nolan, let's set off!" Amber urged, glancing at the two of them with a nod.
Nolan and Eula agreed readily and followed Amber out of the Knights of Favonius headquarters.
"By the way, didn't a lot of Rift Monsters appear in Wolvendom last time? How did that go? Did the spatial rift finally close?" Nolan asked Eula curiously.
"Mhm, our strike team wiped out every Rift Monster we could find in Wolvendom. With no monsters sustaining it, the spatial rift closed naturally," Eula responded. "But as it closed, a massive pair of claws reached out, trying to tear open the rift again to force its way through."
"Too bad the creature failed; otherwise, we would've taken it down too!" she added with a hint of regret.
That's Eula for you—always so confident, Nolan thought.
But if that had really been a Golden Lord Monster crossing over, even if they could win, it would've been a tough fight. A decisive victory, the way Eula envisioned, would have been anything but easy.
"Yeah, I encountered another type of Rift Monster while in Liyue. I doubt the Rift(Abyss) will just give up on Teyvat that easily," Nolan said, considering. "We should remain prepared to face their advances. The world is vast, and no one can monitor every corner at once. It's only a matter of time before they cross over again."
He recalled that a Golden Lord Monster eventually did make its way to Inazuma, on a distant island called Tsurumi. Since it was so isolated, it hadn't yet impacted Teyvat. However, there could be more Golden Lord Monsters in the Rift(Abyss), and they might choose to appear somewhere with more people, posing a serious threat to humanity.
Reflecting on this, Nolan realized this issue was far from over; a full-scale invasion from the Abyss could be on the horizon.
"No worries! With the Knights of Favonius around, we can face any crisis, no matter how big!" Amber said with a confident smile.
The red ribbon tied like rabbit ears swayed gently in the breeze.
"Alright, let's set that aside for now. Since we're heading to the mountains, where conditions are harsh, let's first stop by the supply depot to gather some gear," Eula said, glancing at the clear morning sky as her soft lips parted.
"Good idea," Nolan nodded, setting thoughts of Rift Monsters aside.
The trio made their way to the Knights of Favonius supply depot, where a colleague handed them a few essentials, including thick insulated coats for warmth, high-energy snacks, and nutritional drinks that wouldn't freeze even in sub-zero temperatures. According to Amber, these freeze-proof drinks were created by Sucrose, making operations in cold climates much more efficient for the knights.
"Dragonspine is quite a distance from Mondstadt. Are we taking a carriage?" Amber asked, glancing at Eula.
"Our mission is to investigate elemental lifeforms attacking adventurers. The sooner we arrive, the sooner we might prevent another attack. So yes, a carriage is necessary," Eula said, crossing her arms.
While traveling on foot might have been quicker, expending so much energy before even reaching Dragonspine would have been unwise, making the carriage the better choice.
"No need to bother with that—we'll just fly there using Wind Gliders," Nolan suggested, leaning against the depot wall with a smile.
"Fly? But there aren't any cliffs high enough to glide that far!" Amber said, tucking a stray strand of her deep brown hair behind her ear, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"Heh, leave that to me. I told you I'm a lot stronger now. I can use Anemo to carry us all the way to Dragonspine," Nolan replied confidently.
"Oh? You're still challenging me, huh? I'll remember that! Once this mission's done, we'll spar, and I'll teach you not to let your confidence get out of hand!" Eula huffed, shaking a fist in mock threat at him.
"Alright, alright, my apologies," Nolan replied, feigning submission. Internally, however, he thought to himself that even if he could beat Eula, it wouldn't do to flaunt it. Better to go easy and make it look like a close match, he reasoned, so as not to hurt her pride.
"Haha, well, since that's settled, we'll leave the traveling arrangements to you," Amber said with a slight smile.
"Let's get moving," Nolan nodded. Once they'd left the depot, he found an open area, where he spread his Wind Glider and created an updraft with Anemo to lift off.
He continued to manipulate the wind, carrying the three of them swiftly toward Dragonspine. Flying in a straight line, they crossed Mondstadt's walls in less than half an hour and soon spotted Springvale below them. This took about another half hour.
Being so close to Dragonspine, the hunters of Springvale used to venture into the mountains frequently, hunting for snow boars, whose meat was more tender and flavorful than that of regular wild boars and highly valued. However, the heavy snows in recent times had kept most hunters away.
Before long, Nolan and the others flew past Springvale, and after another half-hour flight, they finally arrived at the foot of Dragonspine.
