Delayed Work

While George was treating Kylie's wounds because she couldn't do it herself with her hands cuffed.

A man came and called out to her from outside her prison cell.

"Kylie!" he called.

Both Kylie and George turned their heads at the same time when they heard someone's voice. It was Damian, he had finally arrived to take Kylie out of prison.

She got up from the bed and walked over to Damian.

"Oh you've finally arrived. I thought I was going to rot here waiting for you!" Kylie said.

"I can't keep you here any longer," Damian said rubbing Kylie's head.

The woman gasped and reflexively took a step back as Damian suddenly rubbed her head. He had been doing this to Kylie a lot lately, making her feel astonished.

'Am I such a child in his eyes that he always strokes my head?' she thought.
