William placed their suitcases on the doorstep and took Lucas with him, while Amanda tried to knock on her parents' door.

It was already nine o'clock at night, Amanda hoped her parents were still awake so she didn't disturb them who were asleep.

Amanda knocked, waiting for a response from inside the house.

"Yes, who?" There was a man's voice from inside the house, Amanda recognized the voice as her father's.

Since Amanda didn't answer, the door was opened slightly from the inside to see who was outside. Dominic, her father opened the door and saw who was at his door. The man's blue eyes widened in shock as he found his beloved daughter whom he missed so much in front of him right now.

"Dad..." Amanda called out with a smile despite her tears of joy.
