After almost 10 days of Kylie staying at Amanda's house, it was time for her to go home and return to work. She had already gotten three calls from her boss to come back immediately because there was an assignment that Kylie had to handle.
"If you don't come back soon you could be fired, you know... Next time you can come again, don't force yourself to be here," Amanda half-scolded Kylie.
"Yes, yes, I know..."
"Hiks... Aunt Kylie is coming home. If Auntie comes home, Lucas won't have any friends..." Lucas said tearfully.
"Hey, don't cry. Auntie will come back during the holidays, although I don't know when. But Lucas can still call me, Let's video call as usual, okay?" Kylie asked and hugged Lucas.
The boy cried every time Kylie left because he felt that Kylie was his closest friend. When Amanda went to work, Kylie was there to keep him company. Now his aunt had to leave because of a call of duty.
"Don't be long... Hiks... Must... Come again."
