Crevan and the Girl

"It's been a day…" Keagan whispered as she looked up at the sky. The stars were only visible through the gaps between the trees, nothing on the night sky above the manor.

The manor was under a clearing of tall trees, but a black dome seemed to cover the house. Keagan figured it was the thing keeping vampires from finding this place. Nonetheless, she didn't think it was completely inaccessible. Dacian was able to bring her to that shack; Wren could get her out of there.

"It's too cold to stay out. You should return to your room." Nathan walked up to Keagan, sitting beside her in the garden pavilion surrounded by dead plants. "Since you're walking around now, will you leave tomorrow morning? I still need you to fill some vials with your blood."

"Right, you have a guest." Keagan hummed as she shifted to face him. "Is he something like you? Your butler said he was struggling to recover. Is he doing any better now?"
