Chapter 328 : Beast In The City 2

It took a long time for Orion to "Bargain" with those Vampires. Unfortunately for him, even then he didn't find any clue about Eric.

Now this wa getting frustrating, why that man didn't told him where he was at thsi time. He almost felt like this was an conspiracy against him.

Of course he didn't let those vampires go after that but even then his mood wasn't much good.

Sighing he just came back to New York, ready to just go back to the Orphanage, which now was his temporary residence, he just wanted to relax now. But the moment he arrived back to New York, he found that the entire city was in chaos.

"WTF…" Orion saw the destroyed streets and many damage buildings and cursed. He knew who might have done this and his earlier irritation came back full force.

"Fuck… Credence." Orion curse again and open his Law of Presence to figure out where Credence was.

The moment he find the person he immediately vanish from is place once again, ready to smack that idiots head to calm him down.

The battle between the Aurors and Credence in his Obscurus form was fierce. The dark, swirling mass of raw magical energy that Credence had become was too powerful for the Aurors to handle. Their spells did little to contain him, and one by one, they were knocked back, sent crashing into the debris of the ruined streets of New York. Credence's power was overwhelming, and his anger, frustration, and fear fueled the destruction even more.

From a distance, Tina and Newt watched the scene unfold. Tina, desperate to stop the chaos, clenched her wand tightly. "We have to do something!" she said urgently, preparing to cast a spell at the raging Obscurus.

But Newt quickly stopped her, grabbing her arm gently but firmly. "No, wait! We can't attack," he said. "He's not a monster. He's a child, Tina. You know how Obscurus are born, We need to calm him down, not hurt him."

Tina hesitated, her eyes filled with worry, but she trusted Newt's judgment. She stepped back as Newt slowly approached the violent cloud of dark energy, keeping his voice calm and his movements slow. His years of working with magical creatures had given him the experience he needed to handle even the most dangerous situations.

"It's alright," Newt called out softly, trying to reach the child hidden within the Obscurus. "You're hurt, I understand. We're not here to hurt you."

The Obscurus paused for a moment, its chaotic swirling slowing just a little as if Credence could hear Newt through the anger and pain. Newt took another careful step forward, his eyes filled with compassion. "You don't have to be afraid anymore. We can help you. Just trust me."

He has dealt with only one Obscurus before this but that was no where close to what he was dealing with right now. This Obscurus was way too powerful.

For a brief moment, the Obscurus began to recede, and it seemed as if Credence was starting to calm down. But just as things were beginning to improve, a figure stepped out from the shadows—Percival Graves. Or rather, Grindelwald in disguise.

"Credence!" Grindelwald called, though at first he didn't realize it but later on he learned who the real Obscurious was. If only he had realized this earlier. His voice smooth and commanding. "They don't understand you. They never will. But I do. Come with me, and I will teach you how to control your power. I will teach you magic you always wanted."

Credence, who had been so close to calming down, hesitated. The pressure that Grindelwald had placed on him, the manipulation, was what had driven him to this state in the first place. Now, the fear and confusion returned, and the Obscurus surged violently once more.

"No!" Newt shouted, stepping forward, trying to stop the escalation. But Grindelwald raised his wand, effortlessly sending Newt flying backward with a powerful spell.

"You shouldn't have leave Britain." Grindelwald said with irritation when he saw Newt again, he long learn about him thank to Tina bringing him to light."Newt struggled to his feet, but he knew that Grindelwald was too strong. Still, he couldn't let the obscurius further into despair. More importantly he can't let Grindelwald have the Obscurious. "Don't listen to him!" Newt called out. "He's using you!"

But Credence, torn between the promises of power and the hope for peace, was caught in a storm of emotions. The Obscurus lashed out once again, and the city fell deeper into chaos.

Both Grindlewald and Newt wanted to go after Credence but before he do that, Grindlewald swung his wand and send powerful spell towards Newt.

Newt was completely caught off guard.

He wanted to dodge or block the attack but the attack was took powerful and fast for him to that.

Seeing, this attack was different than the previous attacks, earlier Grindlewald hold back due to Credence was right there, but now he just wanted to stop Newt.

Killing him wasn't out of option either, so he though still didn't directly use the killing curse but the magic he used was dark in nature and lethal nonetheless.

Just when Newt thought that there was no way to avoid this attack, he felt that the attack started to slow down, and even stopped as it appeared just inches apart from him.

Newts stood there, the spell hovering just little away from him with surprise, not sure what just happened.

"I was out of the city for just 8 hours. EIGHT." A very angry and irritated sound came as a man walk in with his wand pointed towards Newt. But both Newt and Grindlewald realized that he wasn't pointing it towards Newt but rather the spell Grindlewald send at Newt.

This of course was Orion, now even more angry at how this happened exactly when he was outside the city. For months he stay here but this happened under just the 8 hours he was outside.

"Get going, I have some talking to do with this old man here." Orion flick his wand and the spell which was hovering in front of Newt vanished. He nonchalantly said this to Newt and then turn to Grindlewald.

Whille this was happening, Elenora who got out of Tina's house, she was getting anxious about what was going on on the city, actually she was more concerned about getting her suitcase back.

So she got out of the car and started to look for John Wick even now when the city was being destroyed by a monster.

But soon she regretted coming out….
