Chapter 244 : In The Game Now 5

As the fight ended, Orion found himself facing Kirei once again. But this time the man wasn't looking that good. 

One of his hands was cut off, but even more than that he was looking horrified. 

The attack almost took out an entire section of the forest. 

"What kind of Mage are you," he asked with a little disbelieving tone, this facial feature looked very strange on the stoic man but Orion didn't reply or comment on this. 

"The exact word would be wizard. And I am the man who will be the strongest wizard out there, The Wizard King." Orion said and suddenly felt like Luffy for a second. 

Shaking his head, he stepped closer to Kirei making him alert. 

"I guess we should end this fight now. I have more work believe it or not." Orion asked as this time he completely shed his blade and made it disappear. 

Instead, he was planning on fighting with just magic now. 

Now since the assassin was taken care of, he doesn't particularly need to act. 

Slowly a red orb started to form in his hand, on first look it was visible that it was dangerous. 

Kirei's eyes widened, he could feel it, there was no running from this attack. This was the same attack which took out Berserker. 

He pursed his lips as a shiver of fear rang through his spine. 

Orion didn't care what the man was feeling right now. He just wanted to kill the man and be done with it. 

"Red Reversal."

The fight between Saber and Lance finally entered their last threshold.

Both were relentless when it came to fighting. 

But unlike Lancer, Saber was not only injured by Lancer's earlier attack but she was also worried about her Master. 

And this was making her push to beat Lancer faster. But it wasn't that easy to beat Lancer. 

While this was happening, Iris was trying to run away from Kayneth with the unconscious Emiya still with her. 

Maiya took it upon herself to stop Kayneth and buy some time for Kayneth but, she was no mage.

Even with modern weapons in her possession, she was no match when it came to Kayneth. 

Kayneth was a very powerful mage, even without his servant he could fight almost anyone besides some of the most powerful players in the war. 

Maiya struggles to hold herself against Kayneth. Running away from Kayneth and trying to evade his silver jelly-like thing which was both a shield and weapon. 

Kayneth knew that the woman wasn't the master of Saber, it was that man Orion, that young mage from out of the seas attacked, Kirisugu Emiya. And was getting annoyed now. 

He was especially here to kill Emiya while missing out on the chance to get an extra command seal for himself by going after Caster. 

But the reason he went after Emiya was becuase he was an easier target. Not to mention, he has no idea where Caster is currently. 

"Woman, come out. I will let you go if you tell me where Kiritsugu Emiya is." Kayneth shouted. He didn't want to waste time here on this woman anymore. 

But Maiya didn't come out. 

Finally, anger got hold of him and Kayneth went on a rampage. Destroying the fancy and quite expensive mansion of Emiya and Iris. 

That was when Maiya finally came out. 

She knew that staying hidden away was the only way to save her life but she wasn't here for that. Her goal was to stop Kayneth here and buy time for Kiritsugu. 

'I just hope that Iris takes Kiritsugu and gets out of here soon.' 

He thought and finally got out. In her hand was a special gun. A gun that only Emiya Kiritsugu has used till now. This gun was no ordinary gun, especially the bullets in them. 

This was the reason why Emiya got the name of mage killer. The bullets are special they mess with the magical power of inside a Mage. Rendering them useless for quite some time or even killing them. 

And Now Maiya had that gun, she took it becuase there was only this one weapon which could defeat Kayneth. 

"Oh, so you are finally out. Do you really think that gun will...

"BANG...

Iris was dragging the unconscious Emiya away from the mansion to the best of her capabilities, but she was already weakened. 

She could hardly even lift a dumbbell at this point, let alone a full-grown man and escape from a hostile location. 

But thanks to Maiya, she was able to. But she knew that this came at a cost. She knew that mages were way stronger than normal people, and Kayneth was a strong mage. 

But she kept on going, becuase she knew that if not then it's only death which is waiting for both her and her husband. 

While dragging her husband, suddenly she stopped, because she felt someone coming towards her. 

Someone with powerful magic. 

She was currently inside the forest, it was clear that if Kayneth went past Maiya and came after them then there was no way they could outrun him. So the only way to escape is hiding. 

Forest was dangerous but that was the only place she had to hide her own failing body and her unconscious husband. Till now the Avalon inside her given to her by Kiritsugu was helping her maintain her body. 

But the more away she was getting from Sabre, the harder it was to move her body. 

"Please, just a little bit more." Panicking after knowing that someone was coming their way, she pushed her body as much as she could to drag Kiritsugu away, behind a tree and embrace the unconscious body of her husband, waiting for whoever this person was to just go away. 

Praying that they don't find them. 

But unfortunately, that wasn't the case. But fortunately, this was none other than Orion. 

"Iris, what you doing here ?"
