Chapter 226 : That Rat 5

Both Orion and Nick were looking at each other with ferocity in their eyes, it was easy for anyone to say that if they ended up fighting then they were not gonna stop until either one was dead. 

This was in fact a little strange for Rose as she wasn't clear about their history, she just knew that Orion didn't like Nick, but the boy never told her why. She first had a hunch that this had something to do with Hermione completely switching sides from red to green. 

But now upon seeing how they were behaving, that assumption was looking shaky at best. After all, Hermione was standing right there but Orion didn't even look at her once, let alone mention her. 

If this was really about Hermione then that wouldn't be the case. This was both complicating and reassuring to Rose. 

Complicated because Orion's dislike for Nick, which at this point almost looked like hate, didn't originate becuase of Hermione. So, if not for her then why? what the hell did Iron do for Orion to treat him like that?

It is reassuring because this explains that Orion didn't like Hermione like she was afraid he did. It's not like she is happy that he hates her or anything but if he likes Hermione then it really would be hard for her to get Orion. 

Orion previously has saved Hermione many times, like when that Troll attacked her or when he punched Voldemort who occupied that professor's body, just to save the girl. So, she always thought that Orion was like Hermione. 

They both are Muggle-borns and both are geniuses and many other things. 

While Rose was pondering and wasting her time on these pointless things, Sirius on the side was sweating bullets. 

Though he couldn't sense any magical power thanks to the barrier Orion put in place to protect them, Sirius too had seen his fair share of magical fights to say how strong both the boys were in front of him. 

The fact that their magic was taking a physical form due to how strong both of their magic was, was also a reason why Sirius was so worried. 

He usually has seen this kind of magical Aura in three people still now. Dumbledore, Voldemort and his own grandfather. 

Seeing this level of magical power emitting from two boys who might not be even half of his age was both humbling and frightening. 

"Rose, who is that friend of yours and that rattlesnake? Why so angry?" He asked with a joke, but it was just a failed attempt to calm himself down.

He hardly doubts that he could have beaten either of the ones in his heyday, let alone right now when he has completely weakened and has no wand. 

He heard the talk between both the boys and understood at least this much that that rattlesnake with striking green eyes, which strongly reminded him of both James and Lily, wanted Pettigrew. 

There was no way that he let that happen. He rather dies before that. But that could also mean that Rose will be in danger. Currently, the only person who can stop that Slytherin student was that boy. 

ORION.

Hermione on the side was also in contemplation. She wanted to stop Nick but she just couldn't. This was happening becuase Nick wanted to kill Pettigrew himself. This was also the reason why he sent these hounds after Pettigrew in the first year. 

There are only 5 people Nick or Harry really has hated from the bottom of his heart. And Pettigrew was 3rd on that list.

Only because Pettigrew escaped back when he first met with Sirius was the reason why Cedric lost his life. Nick from the very beginning wanted to fix what mistakes he made last time. So, it was imperative that he had to kill that rat. 

But that was the problem, he clearly didn't have to, right now Pettigrew was captured, and it doesn't make sense to kill him if he escaped again which is highly unlikely as Orion was here and looking over him. But Nick just wanted him dead. 

He clearly doesn't have to but he wanted to. So when he learns through the tamed creatures that Pettigrew is back in Hogwarts, he again springs up to capture him again. Only for him to disappear again suddenly. 

And the rest was history, the moment he learned that Pettigrew appeared in the Shrieking shack, he this time ran here by himself to kill him. 

And the biggest things which Hermione was fearing happened. This was just like the last year. Both Orion and Nick were once again face to face, killing each other all over again.

That last confirmation was totally unnecessary but Orion smiled nonetheless seeing it coming from Merlin of all people. 

He plans to kick this Harry Potter look-alike ass no matter the case. And now that he heard Hermione suddenly calling him Harry of all people. It would be a crime if he didn't go after this. 

"Believe me Ambrosius you don't want this. This has nothing to do with you. My grudge with him, let me tell you that's personal.

So choose, you want a pointless fight over a person, who you yourself don't like much and might even kill yourself if the situation demands it, who has nothing to do with you or avoid the fight." Nick asked, still his wand pointing at Orion.

"Ah really! did that rat sell your parent's lives too to the dark lord or something?" Orion teased intentionally and to his surprise, the sudden facial change he was expecting from Nick was there. 

Clearly, something shady was going on here with that boy. He suddenly enters into the story where only he should have the premium right to be a reincarnator, he looks like Harry Fucking Potter, and last him being this strong, trying to kill him and Rose and even knowing the story to some degree just always erk Orion but he couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. 

"I will take that as an answer that you choose to fight," Nick said as his magic spiked up. 

"Haha, do you even believe yourself that there was an option for peace ?" Orion replied mockingly but there was a wide smile on his face. 

But unlikely that charming smile, his eyes were glowing with eerie blue light as even more powerful magical power broke out from him.
