Chapter 168 : Care For Magical Creature 2

After he was done glaring at those Traitors, he made his way towards Hagrid. With a frown on his face.

[Why the long face, you wanted to mount that Hippogriff didn't you ?] It's been 5 years since he has been with this boy but still to this date he doesn't understand what he really wants. Sigh.

'That ain't the problem here, it should be on my term... you know what forget it. It doesn't matter,' Orion swallows up his dissatisfaction and moves on.

"Now listen carefully, slowly go close to him but not too close and remember to bow. Don't move much or make a sudden movement. Once you bow, it's a sign that you show your respect, if he bows too then it allows approval of you," Hagrid said.

"Hmm" grumbling he moved on. Why should he go and bow? He ain't looking for anyone's approval. But just to keep the class moving he moved on. He still wants to ride this Pegasus after all.

Slowly moves close, until the Hippogriff notice him, he first looks the high and mighty bastard right in the eyes sizing him up and then bows.

For a second nothing happened, making Orion ponder whether he did something wrong. Slowly raising his eyes he saw the Hippogriff staring at him.

His lips pursed and he waited.

And waited.

AND WAITED.

"..."

"Oi do something, avoid me, bow back or just attack me. Quit standing there like a statue," Orion Roared. He didn't want to get angry but dammit, this half-bird was testing his patience here.

Hagrid immediately wanted to stop Orion from annoying the Hippogriff but before he could do that, he saw the horse making his way towards Orion. This make him a little shocked. Usually, the Hippogriff will just attack the person who he doesn't like but seeing the way he was slowly walking towards Orion with grace, it doesn't look like he was here to attack Orion.

Hagrid was confused, let alone the students who were only there to watch the saw. They didn't understand what was going on but seeing Orion making a fool of himself was entertaining.

Orion watching the Hippogriff coming, raises his eyebrows a little. He was afraid a bit. There is hardly anything touching him in the entire castle right now besides Dumbledore. There is Gryffindor Sword as well but he currently owns it so there is that.

He didn't even activate his infinity, his own physical power is enough to contain the hippogriff in front of him. No need to waste his magic. After all, he doesn't have six eyes like a certain white hair JJK Jesus. Using Infinity not only burns away his magic like petrol in a 19s supercar but also gives him a damn headache every time he overuses it.

So he stood there until he was face to face with the horse, anyone else would have lost their composure by now when sees that huge head so close but Orion had confidence in him. Even without magic, he can put the beast in front of him down.

But unlike the fight which he was expecting, nothing like that happened. The Hippogriff just sniffed him two times and then turned around.

Just when he was confused and wanted to ask Hagrid to explain what's going on here...

Slap.

Orion blinked, what happened? There was a sting on his cheek.

He looks back just to realise that that damn Hippogriff slaps him in the face with his tail.

[Interesting]

Orion's eyes twitch, he so much wanted to just Shinra Tensei this bird here but he endured it.

"Hagrid, I believe that this guy doesn't like me," Orion said and turned back. Someone could swear that they heard teeth gritting when Orion passed by them.

There was a dark look on his face, seeing the bad face on him Hagrid too didn't say anything and just called off the next person.

He had a feeling that the world would lose one more fantastic creature today if he didn't.

The next person was none other than Rose. And guess what...

"Well done Rose. Now go on, touch him,"

Twitch.

[Puff...]

'Control, control.' Orion just calms himself down. Stating that it is just a brainless animal. No point in getting angry here.

He looks back at the Hippogriff again. Their eyes connected.

Huff.

Twitch.

He just notice that the moment their eyes connected, the damn horse turn his head with a snort. He swear he felt that damn horse was looking down on him.

'Control, Control,'

"Good Rose," Hagrid cheered as the Hippogriff let Rose touch her. Then what followed was Rose mounting the flying horse as Hagrid lifted her up and dropped him down on the horse's back.

He earlier wanted to ride him but now he wasn't in the mood.

Seeing Rose flying away in the back of the Hippogriff, he thought of following on his broom.

So he slowly backed off while no one was looking and with a simple hand gesture something interesting happened. He divided into two like there were two Orion.

If someone from Earth had seen the Avengers then they would say that this technique of Orion was exactly like Loki's illusion. This was the case as Orion modelled it after that him.

So while his illusion stayed there in the back, acting like he was sulking. The real Orion vanishes from his place.

The next second he appears high up in the sky, free-falling but without a parachute.

"Haha, this is always fun," Orion laughed as he felt the wind pressure in his entire body. It's always exhilarating to free fall from the sky like this.

With expert movement he took out his special broom from his pendant and mounted it.

Zoom.

He moves out to follow Rose. It looked fun so why not? So with a zoom, he rushed towards the flying Rose.

"Whaaahoooooooooo," as he approached the flying girl, he heard this cheerful scream from her, she was flying quite low on Buckbeck's back, almost able to touch the water in the lake. There was a beautiful smile on her face.

For a second Orion just wanted to fly over but after seeing how much she was enjoying the ride, he thought otherwise.

Sometimes solitude can give a certain kind of peace of mind that someone's company can't provide.

So he stayed away, keeping his distance.

Looking around he noticed how beautiful the place was. The sunlight was glittering in the lake while the Majestic Hogwarts Castle was giving perfect contrast to the environment.

"Hmm, this is pretty peaceful,"

[Agree]

The earlier anger was already gone, and there was a smile on Orion's face.

"Orion," While enjoying the sunlight and the wind in his face, he heard a Rose calling out for him.

"Ah you found me, and here I thought that I was hidden good enough," Orion smiled as he flew closer to Rose, though not close enough to surprise the Hippogriff.

"What are you doing here," She asked with much amazement in her voice.

"Come on, if there is one person who can sneak away during class then it's me. But if you are asking why then, well why wouldn't I be?

Just look around, how fresh and beautiful is up here," Orion said as he closed his eyes and spread his hand wide, taking a deep breath as fresh air filled in his lungs. There was a content smile on his face.

Seeing his happy face, there was a big blush on her face as well. Overall it's a very nice day, perfect to enjoy nature's beauty.

But apparently, the bastard's horse with wings didn't like the harmony between Man, Women and Nature.

"Woh," As soon as the horse started to make noise, Rose lost her composure, the balance was hard to maintain when the Hippogriff was trying to catch Orion in the air with his front gawk-like claws.

"Oi, quiet it you stupid horse," Orion tried to get away from the Hippogriff but that was when Rose lost her balance and fell.

[Good thing that it's water down there] Merlin reminded.

"Fuck you," Orion shouted, not sure whether it was for Merlin or the bastard horse with wings. Maybe both?

And with just one hand movement he was gone. vanish from thin air.

----

"Ahaaaaaa," Rose screamed as she fell. The thought that down there is water and she won't outright die didn't register in her mind at that time as instincts of survival and fear clouded her mind.

Only now did she realize just how dangerous was what she was doing.

Just when she thought that she was done for, she found herself in Orion's arms.

Her heart was beating faster, mind was falling behind to process what was going on.

In her eyes, there was only one person right now.

"Orion," She subconsciously called out. But her voice almost hicked when the said boy actually looked at her.

Once again due to using his magic, his magical charm which he usually hides behind concealment magic wasn't there and Rose was confronted by the full power of Orion's magical charm which was surprisingly getting stronger the more powerful he was getting.

She saw the boy's bright azure blue eyes glowing he had to use natural magic and space law to show in mid-air. Her breath almost got choked inside her.

Not sure how many beats her traitorous heart missed.

Her eyes were currently glued on the boy's face while she herself was getting cosy in his arms.

"Phew, that was close wasn't it," Orion said, though he felt a little uncomfortable as his magical tanks were quickly getting empty due to flying. He still didn't have enough magic to pull off the Law of Space for long. He maybe can keep this on for another 10 to 15 minutes before his magic completely runs out. Can extend the time if using natural magic but that will increase the load on his mind. Its hard to draw natural magic after all.

He knew that what he was doing right now wasn't efficient as using Law is already taxing in one magic, if he used a normal flying spell then it would be much easier on his mana. However that would be highly complicated for him to pull off. He refuses to do that because in future he won't have this problem as he reaches higher realms of magic capabilities.

Just when he was about to summon his broom, he heard something. It was that damn horse again.

Orion didn't do shit. Giving a reassuring smile to Rose, who for some reason was completely dazed out by now, he slowly shifted his eyes on the upcoming Hippogriff. But this look was different.

[Ohhh]

This was it was not the blue azure eyes which was seen by the flying horse, they were dead. And from the second the Hippogriff saw those eyes, there was only one thing in his heart, fear.

This was a full-on Conqueror's Haki collision.

Its almost made the Hippogriff lose his consciousness, and his dangerous head mixed with unimaginable terror spread out, making the Hippogriff stop mid-way as he hastily flip his wings to get away from Orion.

"Oi, Where do you think you are going? Go back to Hagrid you punk or I will rip those wings before you say hippo," Orion didn't say but mentally conveyed and it was enough to completely frighten the damn horse.

Orion remembers to protect Rose from his law of presence though. That was very important.
