Superman and Phoenix burst through the protective shield, heading straight for the Celestial fleet.

Superman's iconic red cape trailed behind him as he sped towards a battleship, fist raised. Though his size compared to the colossal ship was like that of an ant to a giant tree, the impact of his punch was anything but small. The hull crumpled instantly, turning what was once a straight I-shape into a mangled U.

The warship veered off its course, sliding sideways for over ten kilometers before crashing into another nearby ship.

Clark dodged incoming attacks with blinding speed, and when he couldn't avoid them, he charged straight ahead. His heat vision cut through the recessed section of the ship, carving out a gaping hole in the hull.

The space around them trembled as Clark penetrated two warships in quick succession.

Explosions erupted, casting fiery reflections in the dark void of space, leaving behind only two heaps of debris.

Meanwhile, Phoenix hovered in place, her red hair flowing wildly as the power of the Phoenix Force engulfed the area in a fiery glow.

The energy beams from the Celestial fleet did nothing to her; they dissolved into molecules before they even reached her, dissipating 100 meters away. With a powerful gesture, she hurled a nearby battleship backward, forcing it to collide with others.

"Stop!"

Her voice echoed with raw power as she enveloped the battleship in a red flame, halting its advance. The ship's systems overloaded, triggering a chain explosion that transformed it into a sea of flames.

With another flick of her hands, Phoenix manipulated the battleship like a puppet, sending it crashing into its allies with brutal force. Under her control, the massive space warship was nothing more than a toy, rapidly disrupting the surrounding fleet.

"The first and second squadrons, halt! Prioritize the elimination of these two rebels. All remaining fleets, continue the assault!" commanded the Celestial fleet's leader.

Hundreds of warships surrounded Superman and Phoenix, and their hangars opened, releasing a swarm of Celestials in fighter craft that descended upon the two heroes like a tidal wave.

Clark grinned. "Hand-to-hand combat? Now you're speaking my language."

He kicked off from the ruined warship behind him, sending it hurtling backward while he rocketed into the thick of the Celestial forces. Electromagnetic cannons, energy beams, and metal bullets bombarded him, but he shrugged off the attacks.

With a mighty punch, he unleashed a shockwave that obliterated any Celestial in its path, turning them into nothing but blood and fragments, like roses in bloom.

Clark's invulnerability rendered him impervious to their assaults. Phoenix, on the other hand, was a master of energy manipulation. With the Phoenix Force coursing through her, no attack could even come close.

As the enemies swarmed around her, Phoenix calmly raised her hands. Her crimson coat billowed as an eerie scream echoed through the void. The Phoenix Force morphed into a tornado of fire, towering hundreds of meters high, engulfing the advancing Celestial forces. Anything that touched the Phoenix Storm disintegrated into mere elements.

Her efficiency in battle was terrifying, wiping out tens of thousands of enemies in seconds.

The Phoenix Storm grew stronger, dragging dozens of nearby warships into its vortex. Then, with another shrill scream, the red tornado exploded, unleashing a wave of Phoenix energy in all directions.

Fireballs erupted across the battlefield as every ship caught in the storm was obliterated. A hundred warships vanished in the blink of an eye, and the entire second squadron of Celestial forces was annihilated.

The surrounding forces hesitated, wary of approaching her. Even Clark was taken aback by the sheer destructive power of the red-haired woman.

However, after unleashing such a massive attack, Phoenix needed a moment to catch her breath. Instead of pressing forward, she paused to recover her strength.

Clark soon joined her after clearing the first squadron.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

They exchanged a determined glance and launched themselves back into the fray.

In less than ten minutes, they had decimated over two hundred warships—a remarkable feat. But from a broader perspective, the battlefield was still swarming with Celestial forces.

Across the vast expanse of space, tens of thousands of warships continued their relentless advance towards Earth. Though Superman and Phoenix's efforts were impressive, they were barely a ripple in the ocean of enemies.

In the war room, an electronic display flickered to life, showing the face of the Celestial commander.

"Master Mongo, the two rebels have destroyed my squads in mere moments. While they haven't impacted the overall battle, they seem to be making a beeline for the command center," the commander reported.

Mongo chuckled. "Let them come. Those squads were merely tests of their strength. It appears the last Kryptonian warrior is as formidable as the legends say. I suppose it was worth coming here in person after all."

Back on Earth, panic had gripped the entire planet. Aliens were at their doorstep, and the scenario of a sci-fi movie had become a terrifying reality.

People cowered in their homes, parents soothing their children with reassurances they didn't truly believe themselves.

"Ahem... Hello, everyone. This is Jude Herbert. First, let me greet you with an internationally recognized symbol of peace," he said, raising two middle fingers with a grin. "I think you all understand."

He cleared his throat before continuing. "On to business. You may not know who I am, but I know you're scared."

"Look up. See that portal in the sky? That's where the alien forces are coming from, and they're not going to stop."

"But don't be afraid, because I'm here. And behind me is a team ready to protect this planet."

"Right now, Superman and Phoenix are out there fighting this alien fleet in outer space, and soon, I'll join them on the battlefield."

"I know you might not believe me, so I've arranged a live broadcast for you. Take a good look at who's saving your world."

With that, Jude signaled Veronica to begin transmitting live footage of the cosmic battle to every screen on Earth. For the first time, the people of Earth were faced with the harsh reality of the war being waged in the stars above.
