Chapter 81:- Mission or Vacation

"Hanabi, use your Byakugan every few minutes to scan the surroundings. We don't want to be ambushed by any rogue Shinobi." Kakashi could sense it if any group of Rogue Shinobi approached them. He did not want his students to be too much dependent on him. So, he assigned them roles so that they would learn and grow from this experience. 

It was still early in the morning; the forest was slightly foggy. But overall, it was a very peaceful experience. At least the people walking in the back were very peaceful. 

But for Sakura, who was walking at the front, she looked kind of restless. From time to time, she glanced back. She looked at Naruto and others. 

Sigh.....!!

'This is unfair.....!!' Sakura wanted to walk with Naruto. But she was stuck with Kakashi sensei. 

After thinking for a while, Sakura felt that she shouldn't waste her time. She should make use of this time with Kakashi sensei. 

Kakashi, who had been secretly observing Sakura, noticed that his student had suddenly become calm. She stopped frequently looking back. 

"Kakashi-sensei?" 

"What is it, Sakura?" Kakashi asked. 

"Please teach me a few Water Style Jutsu when you have time." Sakura had learned that she had an affinity with Fire, Water, Earth, Yin, and Yang. She had the strongest affinity with Water Nature, so she wanted to learn a few Water water-style jutsu. 

"Alright! But since you're a beginner, we will start with D-rank Jutsu. Once you have mastered this Jutsu, I will teach you something more complex." Sakura nodded her head in agreement. 

"The Jutsu I will teach you is called Water Release: Water Whip."

"This jutsu creates a whip made out of water that can strike or bind the target. But this Jutsu is a glaring weakness."

"What weakness?" Sakura asked. 

"Any average Water Nature user can easily undo the bindings of this Jutsu. Besides, being a D-rank Jutsu, this Jutsu will mostly work on Genin." 

"Then sensei, why will you teach me such useless Jutsu?" Sakura could not understand. 

"First of all, this Jutsu isn't useless. Every Jutsu has its uses."

"Secondly, Learning this Jutsu will help you get a basic understanding of controlling Water Nature,"

"This is your first time learning a Water Style jutsu. After you learn this one, you'll get experience. With that experience, you can quickly learn about other water-style jutsu. If you understand it deeply, you might even create your own unique Water Style jutsu without any help."

"If you continue training in this path, maybe one day, you will create your own unique S-rank Water Jutsu." Hearing this, Sakura felt excited. 

"Sensei, what is the highest-ranking water-style technique you know?" Sakura excitedly asked.

"Well, I know A rank Water-style Jutsu. But since my main chakra element is Lightning, I never really focused on learning any S-rank Water Jutsu." This was still very admirable in Sakura's eyes. 

He would have been unstoppable if Kakashi hadn't been limited by his lack of Chakra. 

All this made Sakura wonder what Jutsu Naruto knew. So far, he has shown very little about his skills. 

Meanwhile, at the back, the three of them were having a different conversation. 

Seeing Hanabi using her Byakugan, Naruto became curious and asked. "Hana-chan, what is the range of your Byakugan? How far can you see with your eyes?" 

"I can see up to 3.5 kilometers around me." Both Sarada and Naruto were impressed hearing this. 

"That's impressive!!"

'Kaguya's Byakugan was able to cover the entire Globe.' 

"My Byakugan is still growing. My father can see up to 20 kilometers. Currently, my big sister can see up to 5 kilometers around her." 

"With enough training and time, I should be able to see around 10 kilometers just like my father can." Hanabi sounded really proud of her Byakugan. 

"How far a Hyuga can see also depends on the person's bloodline purity. For example, children of my age from our clan's Branch family have a range of 700 to 900 meters. My cousin, Neji, can see up to 800 meters."

"This makes me wonder, what else can you see?" Sakura appeared out behind Hanabi.

Ah.....!! 

Hanabi was startled seeing Sakura. She was so engrossed in talking about her Byakugan that she did not notice Sakura sneaking behind her. 

"Sakura, when did you come here?" Hanabi asked. 

"Kakashi-sensei told me that it was Sarada's turn to be at the front." Hearing this, although Sarada's expression did not change much, that is in the eyes of Sakura and Hanabi. But Naruto was able to notice the small barely noticeable frown on her face that instantly disappeared. 

"Now answer my question." Sakura wasn't going to let go of this matter. 

"What do you want me to answer?" Hanabi pretended to be ignorant. 

Sakura rolled her eyes, seeing this. "I heard that Byakugan allows you to see through objects and things. Does that mean you can see other people in the act?" 

"I don't understand what you mean by 'other people in the act.'" Hanabi pretended not to understand the meaning behind her words.

How can she answer something so embarrassing in front of Naruto? She would rather not speak during this whole journey than answer Sakura's question. 

With Byakugan, Hanabi can see everything. When she is in the village, she sees countless things whenever she uses her Byakugan. Hanabi has seen normal people having sex in their bedrooms. Of course, it wasn't her intention to watch couples have sex or do other intimate things. But with her vision, she cannot avoid seeing some things. That's why, in the village, Hanabi and other Hyuga clan members try their best not to use the Byakugan unless absolutely necessary. 

Almost all Shinobi in Konoha know the danger of Byakugan users, so all of them have sealed their houses to make sure that no Byakugan can see inside their houses. But most normal people aren't aware of the capabilities of Byakugan, so they have no idea that every Hyuga clan member can easily break their privacy and constantly watch them if needed. Only a select few ordinary humans who worked with Ninjas or belonging to the upper class knew about the terrifying power of the Byakugan. 

Seeing that Hanabi wasn't willing to answer, Sakura decided to stop teasing Hanabi. 

At the same time, Sarada silently moved to the front and started with Kakashi.

Kakashi noticed Sarada's presence. From the corner of his eyes, he looked at her. He could tell that compared to normal times, the current Sarada's attitude seemed much colder. 

Sigh...!!!

'I have to say Naruto sure has inherited Minato-sensei's luck with women.' Kakashi could remember just how popular Minato was among the female Shinobi of the village. Even some female Shinobi from other villages have confessed their feelings to him. But unfortunately, Minato's heart was captured by Kushina. 

So, for the whole day, the group kept walking. They did not stop to have lunch. Instead, everyone ate while continuing their journey. The journey was very peaceful. Other than meeting a few wild animals that ran away after countering the group, their journey was very peaceful and smooth. 

Around 7 in the evening, it became dark outside. 

The group decided to stop to have dinner. Dinner was short and quick. 

After dinner, Naruto suggested Kakashi continue their journey for a few more hours since he felt that it was too soon to stop their journey. Naruto made this suggestion because he wanted to finish this mission as soon as possible and return back to the village within 4 days. Otherwise, he was going to die. 

Fortunately, the sky was clear and with the help of the full moon, it was easy to navigate in the darkness of the forest. The group continued their journey for another 3 hours before they saw something glowing ahead of them. 

As they closed the distance, everyone realized that it was a big lake in front of them. 

Since the land of fire had many lakes, it was difficult to tell which lake it was. 

The glow they saw from a distance was actually the moonlight reflecting on the water.

"Let's stop in front of this lake." Mr. Taro had no problem with Kakashi's suggestion. 

Even if Kakashi hadn't made this suggestion, he would have asked Kakashi to stop for the night. At this rate, within tomorrow, evening, they should reach their destination. 

"Sarada, please start the campfire for us." 

"Naruto, help Sarada in collecting wood." 

"You two, go and catch a few fishes." Even though they had dinner, no one would mind another meal since they had burned a lot of calories from walking. 

Kakashi divided the tasks among everyone. 

"I will go ahead and scout the surroundings." Saying that, Kakashi disappeared. This was a very necessary step. Kakashi also left to write a report of their progress to Kushina. Before the mission started, Kushina had instructed Kakashi to regularly write to her about the progress of their mission and their location.

Mr. Taro alighted from the carriage and instructed his assistants Ken and Aya to assemble a tent.

Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!!!

Naruto created 10 shadow Clones. He then took out the storage scroll.

"Naruto, what are you....!!" Hanabi couldn't even finish when Naruto summoned a freaking wooden house in front of the lake. 

Seeing this, Sarada, Hanabi, and Sakura all were shocked. 

Mr. Taro and his group were extremely shocked. Their eyes bulged out of their sockets, and their mouths were wide open, big enough to fit an egg.

"What is this?" Sakura asked Naruto. 

"It's a portable wooden house that brought yesterday." The house wasn't that big, but it was enough for 5 of them to stay inside. 

"There are no rooms inside. Meaning we will be sleeping on the floor but this is much better than sleeping outside." Hanabi, Sakura, and Sarada loved Naruto's idea. Especially, Sakura and Hanabi weren't that fond of sleeping outside in the wild. But sleeping in the wooden house would give them a sense of security and they would be able to sleep much comfortably.

Meanwhile, Mr. Taro and his group were kind of feeling envious. Their tents looked very unappealing compared to the wooden house.

After a while, Kakashi returned. But he nearly fell from the tree branch when he saw a freaking wooden house facing the lake. There was a campfire in front of the house. Mr. Taro and his assistant had built their tent opposite the wooden house. 

Kakashi could see his students roasting the fish. There was a wooden table on which all the cooked and remaining fish, along with other ingredients, were placed.

Seeing all of this, Kakashi wondered if his students were here to complete their mission or if they were here for a picnic. 

Sigh....!!

'Back in my days, things used to be so difficult.' Kakashi also wondered why the idea of carrying a portal wooden house never occurred to him. 

"Kakashi-sensei, you have returned." Naruto waved at Kakashi. 

Kakashi nodded before sitting on the empty chair next to Naruto. 

Naruto brought out a wooden house, BBQ tools, a table, and eight wooden chairs, along with wooden plates and ingredients for roasting alongside the fish.

"Naruto, where did you get all of these things?" Kakashi asked. 

"In our last two missions, I felt that staying out in the wild wasn't that much fun and was dangerous, so I made my prepared yesterday." Yesterday, Naruto sent a clone to buy all of these things. 

"Sensei, try this fish! Sakura-chan caught it," Kakashi sighed as he took the fish from Naruto and began to eat it under his mask.

Naruto created five clones to keep watch while everyone went to sleep. Sakura was supposed to stay awake with Naruto and watch out for the enemy, but when she saw the real Naruto going to sleep after creating five clones, she also went to sleep. Around 4 hours later, it was Kakashi, Hanabi, and Sarada's turn to stay awake and watch out for the enemy but Naruto's clones did not wake them up. They kept a watch till 6 in the morning when Kakashi woke up.
