POV LILY
It had been four days since we arrived, and so far everything is "normal" if we take away the magic.
Alice met Adelaide and we met Marlene Mackenna. Severus could be said to be friends with Lucius, thanks to Narcissa and me for doing everything possible to make them get along, on the other hand, a certain group of Gryffindors started with the pranks that luckily are not directed at Sev. In the last few days, I spoke to Remus, Peter, and Sirius.
With Remus, we were able to talk quietly, he was very nice.
Peter was very shy, he didn't talk much and was always with the boys, but in the end, we were able to talk even a little bit.
With Sirius, we didn't talk at first because of my colors, but after I explained to him that not everyone in Slytherin is a bastard, that he only knew the bad side of the house, and of course I also took advantage of my status as a muggle-born daughter. With that said, we were able to talk properly.
But with James, I didn't even have to get close because he came alone, but he always pushed me away for two simple reasons; one, whenever I'm near him, he always stares at me and even though I asked him to stop he keeps doing it, he doesn't even pretend!; two, maybe this way he won't be interested in me in the future, I won't have to marry him and Harry won't have to go through what he went through.
'Well, that will only happen if James isn't interested in me.'
Now I head out of the castle to look for Sev.
When I went out I looked around, and I found him under a tree, I could see he was very concentrated reading a potions book, he was wearing a black shirt and his trousers, his tunic was on one side of him folded, and he had other books on top of it.
'How cute... I want to squeeze his cheeks.'
I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and approached him.
- "Hi Sev." - He raised his head and gave me a half smile.
- "Hi Lily, is something wrong?"
- "No," - He raised an eyebrow, - "Well I'm bored these days I spend more time with the girls, so I thought I'd spend the day with you, what do you think?"
- "I agree, I have to take these books to the library" - With his head he pointed to the books that were on top of his tunic.
- "You've finished reading them." - He nodded, - "Good," - I walked over and grabbed the books, Sev got up and put on his robe and grabbed half of the books.
- "Let's go."
We entered the castle and walked down the corridors. In the corridors, only a few boys were walking or talking. Suddenly, two boys ran past Sev and me, causing us to drop the books we were carrying.
I look up and see James looking at Sev with a smirk on his face, then he looks at me with a goofy grin. I look away and help Severus pick up the books.
'Next time he throws the books at me or pushes me, I'm going to knock those two's teeth out. No Lily, think of teenage Tom inside the Chamber of Secrets..... HOPE not that, you'd better think about Albus as a young man, he's hot.'
I looked up and saw the headmaster.
'Quick, Lily, think of the Bible!'
- "Potter is an idiot." - Severus said with a sigh.
Severus' voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
- "Just ignore him, Sev."
When we finished picking up the books, we got up and started walking back toward the library.
.
After bumping into Snape and Evans. James and Sirius made their way to the common room, usually, the Gryffindor common room was very noisy and even louder at that hour. As they entered, both boys scanned the room with a glance, stopping at one of the sofas where Remus and Peter were sitting.
- "Hello, boys." - Said both boys at the same time.
- "Hello Peter, Remus." - Greeted the Black.
- "Hi," - Said the Potter.
- "How did the prank go?" - Asked Lupin.
- "Great, you should have seen how they looked like." - Sirius said with a grin.
Then the three of them started talking about the prank, while James was lost in thought.
- "James - are you okay?" - Asked the youngest of the four.
When Peter asked, the other two boys stopped their conversation and then turned to look at him.
- "Hm yeah." - James said absently.
- "He doesn't seem to be." - Said Remus.
- "What are you thinking, James?" - Asked the Black.
- "Maybe we can play a joke." - He said with a mischievous grin.
- "On whom?" - Sirius said interested.
- "Snape." - At that, Sirius smiled, while Peter and Remus exchanged glances.
- "J-James, it's not f-for Lily, is it?"
- "Peter's right, James, you don't want to play a joke on Snape because Lily doesn't want to be near you, do you?"
