The Men II

-Ok clear, we can go this way now- he says standing up but I grab on his belt and force him down -The heck?!-

-I...- I point to myself -... Take YOU out of here, not the other way around-

-But the route is clear...!- he tries to say right before a few men run past his route, he frowns -Ok ok, don't give me that look! It's my first time doing... THIS-

-Jusr follow me if you want to leave here with all your limbs still attached to the body- I cross my arm and sigh, starting to walk away.

-Then what are we gonna do?- he comes behind me, hopping here and there -By the way, aren't you scared this is a trap?- he almost starts whistling, no wonder he got caught so easly... -These papers could be fake too yet you decided to follow me just like that, are you sure about your decisions?- I take a deep breath, If he is gonna be like this until we're out I might aswell knock him out and carry him -Or that I will try to kill you?- he asks tapping on my shoulder.

I turn to face him -Let's get this straight, what I want are Infos about those men because something tells that's related to my investigation... I couldn't give a damn about your strategies, I'm pretty sure y'all know who I am and what I can do by now so I don't need to know your plans to win on the battlefield-

With the bow secured on my back I take my sword out in hand, much better for close range combat, and walk following the perimeter of some bigger tends. I call for an halt once I hear men running -He must still be inside the camp, go go go!- yell a man rushing his soldiers forward, he reminds behind and look around... Once he shows me his shoulders I rush forward, getting my sword ready, and kill him. I grab his body by the armpits and drag him behind the tend -Wear his clothes, you will b else's recognizable if someone spot you- -He's, He, He...! He's dead- -Yes, and?-

He gulps down and follow my instructions, after he's done I hide the corpse in a box and move away -You seem a bit off, you knew him?- -Not directly but... Sure, it's just so weird cuz...- -We're in war, this isn't weird- -Yeah I know what you mean... Sorry, I'm ready-

I jump over some obstacles and drag him over to hide again, some very serious men walk past us... A weird aura engulf them, I could almost visibly see black smoke in the air after their passage... -Them, they're those men I was talking about- says the man before me finally back to reality -Uhm?-

He closes his eyes scared for what's about to come as I reach and hand to drag him back on his feet -Can you be more useless than this?!- -I'm sorry... I'm really...- -Shut up and get ready to run!- I take another sword in my free hand and shield him -YES MA'AM!-

Men quickly start to converge in our direction -Do you know how to fight at least?!- -Yes...!- -Then take a damn weapon and pray those men won't find us quickly!- I push away one attack -S sure!-

We make it a few meters away while fighting our way toward the perimeter of the camp -Miss... There's too many, I can't... Anymore- he hold his wounded arm and looks at me -I'm not letting you die here idiot. I smirk and throw the speae on the ground, sending a shockwave through the soil that quickly catches all the nearby men, they begin contorting as their brains frizz right after and fall on the ground -GO NOW! -Well well well... Now I have no more need to hold myself back, who's next?!- I crack my neck looking at the men approaching me -How bold of you, just 10 men? Should have sent more- I swing my weapon and cut them all with one deadly flame out of my sword...

The grip on the other blade gets weaker for a few seconds "I shouldn't over do it..." I remember myself with clenched teeth "... After all I'm far from stable" but I get taken away from my line of thoughts when some men block my path again -Oh... This is gonna be fun- I smirk looking at those black flames in front of me -Let me see what you're famous for then, Ah!- and I throw myself toward them.
