CHAPTER ELEVEN

"So why did you invite us here?" Sharon inquired puzzled by the VIP suite.

"This suite is mine, I prefer to stay discreet. People can be annoyingly eager for attention," he explained.

Sharon retorted, "you must think you're special."

He asked if she said something, and she replied, "did you hear something?"

Moving on to the main issue, Ethan expressed his dissatisfaction with being asked to delivering the address to her driver.

"I'll let it slide this time," he responded dismissively.

Confused, Sharon frowned, but he ignored her. As he continued talking, Sharon couldn't help but think,

"What a jerk. Who does he think he is?" she pondered. "You'll have to be wary of this man," she reminded her

Suddenly, he snapped his fingers, bringing her back.

"Are you here with me, Sharon?" he asked. "Earth to you."

Realizing she zoned out, she stammered,

"What? Did you hear what I was saying?" he asked. "Take your time. I have patience for senseless people." He completed. "Hey… are you done?" he interrupt abruptly, his expression stern as Sharon fell silence.

"Now, let's back to what I was saying," he continued, disregarding her response. "As a married couple, we aren't supposed to live apart from each other. I might not know what you've been doing or what your doing behind my back," he said making her frown. "I'll have you know that I'm a decent person," Sharon said but he scoffed.

"Isn't that what all indecent people would say?" he asked, not giving her a chance at reply, as he continued. "So starting from today, you will move into my home," he declared.

"Today, as in now?" Sharon asked.

 "Yes, now," he replied.

"Okay, I'll have to go back to my house to pack my things," she said.

"There's no need for that," he said dismissively. "I don't think you have anything of worth to your name, so there's no need to stress yourself bringing trash into my home," he added rudely.

 "Rude," Sharon muttered.

"I know. So you would have to get used to it, or else you'll be one step away from a heart attack," he warned picking up his phone. "But if you have any valuable, you can tell your driver to get it. What's his name's again? Ethan pretended to forget. Oh, yes! Tell Simpson to get it," he said.

"It's Simeon," Sharon corrected him as he stood up, adjusting his suit.

"whatever. Just tell Simpson to get whatever you need from that place," he said leaving.

"Arrghh…" Sharon shouted into her fist, feeling her last bit if patience running thin.

*******************************************************Sharon came out to see Ethan's driver waiting for her outside.

"Good day, Mrs. Lancaster," he greeted, opening the door for her. She hadn't gotten used to that name yet, so she smiled and entered to see Ethan seated.

"Took you so long. I thought you wanted to make this your second home," he said.

"it hasn't been even been 10minutes," she grumbled.

"Hmm, that's what lazy people say," he remarked.

When she turned to shout at him, he had already closed his eyes, resting his back on his seat, dismissing her. "infuriating man", she thought, feeling angry at herself for letting this man get to her.

*******************************************************The car stopped at the Lancaster Mansion. Stepping out of the car, Ethan left Sharon and went inside as Liam came to meet her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Lancaster," he said, smiling at her.

"Good evening. Just call me Sharon," she replied with a smile.

"Do you need any help?" Liam asked, holding her hand as she got out of the car.

"Thank you, unlike your annoying boss. How can you even still be working for him?" she asked, walking inside while Liam gave a small smile.

"Mr. Lancaster IIs not that bad. You'll just have to get used to his sharp tongue," Liam said as she huffed.
