For two days Lovita had been missing in action and I was irritated by the fact that I kept calling him and he always answered with coldness. How come my mate was acting up? When I asked Tharn he shrugged his shoulders and avoided me.

I had taken the boat to the pearl farm and found Old Man Cyrus who informed me that Lovita had spent the night at the farm on the first day that I could not find him. I buried myself in work thinking that he was dealing with something important.

Enough was enough and I decided to head to his office on the third day. I found the pack members had already left, luck was on my side, and Lovita's office light was still on. I walked in, shut the door with a bang, and then stood leaning on it as I watched Lovita.
