Chapter 115 - Kyoka Suigetsu Get!

(Challenge Number 4 Bonus Chapter.)

Upon listening to Aizen, Adam felt his blood turn cold. How? How did Aizen know about his real name? How did he know he isn't immune and only resistant to Kyoka Suigetsu?

As his terror becomes more apparent, Aizen's grin becomes wider in response.

'No! Calm down!' Adam shouted internally. 'So what if he knew? He definitely didn't know the truth why I couldn't be affected by Kyoka Suigetsu. His information is limited and flawed!' Adam reminds himself as he levels his stare with Aizen and no longer looks terrified.

"Hmn, this is surprising. Well, if you submit that easily, it would be boring since you already came all this way to entertain me." Aizen said before he placed his right hand on the hilt of Kyoka Suigetsu.

Adam hurried to activate his Aura Barrier that covered his entire body with his Semblance infused Aura. For a brief moment, Adam felt like something was messing with his mind. Forcing his body into Aizen's command but Adam quickly removed the Hypnosis and then his Instinct went full throttle.

*Clang!*

Kyoka Suigetsu slashed at Adam's throat but a pair of black steel-like arms caught the blade in the nick of the moment and resulted only a small graze on Adam's neck blocked by his Aura Barrier.

Adam caught a glimpse of Aizen's expression. Neither was he smirking, smiling or shocked. Just an expressionless and analytical gaze as he tried to figure out Adam's ability.

[Adrenaline]

[Shunpo]

Adam turns into a blur of afterimages but Aizen isn't phased and casually holds his blade diagonally behind his head and blocks Adam's strike.

*Clang!*

The sound of steel clashing, echoes in the empty underground cavern but suddenly accompanied by several gunshot.

In Adam's left hand is his sniper rifle, Hornet. Its muzzle was still smoking and Aizen's left shoulder had two bloody holes that bleed out blood since the bullet penetrated through his body. Then, Aizen suddenly vanished and the previous injured body disappeared like an afterimage.

"Tch, Utsusemi." Adam recognized the advanced Hohō technique.

"Correct." Aizen replied, looking no worse than before and still looking at Adam with that analytical gaze and intense curiosity. "What a terrifying ability. Twice we clashed and twice I felt my Reiatsu weakened. With an ability like that, the longer I fight. The more disadvantageous it becomes for me."

"Then, I just need to take care of you quickly then." Aizen said before he pointed his finger at Adam and cast, "Bakudo 75: Gohutekkan."

Immediately five towering pillars appeared above Adam and were falling on him.

Adam scowled while looking at the pillars. If he is caught, he would be dead meat. Thus, he cannot be restrained by this spell. He reached for his Asauchi and swiftly drew it out.

"Devour!" Adam howled before he slashed at the incoming pillars.

The Asauchi's blade elongated until it's one meter long and turns black like an abyss that swallows all light in the surroundings. The hilt was a simple guardless grip, black and purple in color. Although it wasn't all that amazing, appearance wise. Aizen felt like he was being sucked into the blade when his attention was placed on it for too long.

It didn't take much of a guess for Aizen to figure out. Adam just performed his Shikai release. He saw the blade slashed at his spell and the pillars immediately breakdown into Reiryoku and were absorbed by the blade.

"I seem to have underestimated him." Aizen mutters. "It seems you had been planning this for quite a while. So, I wonder. Why are you doing this? What could it be that I possess and you are interested in?" Aizen wonders as he calmly blocks Adam that rushed at him.

"Why don't you take a guess, Aizen." Adam said and suddenly punched Aizen who blocked with his zanpakuto and sent him until he crashed into the cavern wall.

Adam noticed Aizen seems to be calm and collected despite how he is losing against Adam in the fight. This means he has confidence he will win. Not to mention, his attacks were not to defeat him but to restrain and to buy time. Then, the answer could only be one. Aizen is buying time until his lackey, Gin and Tosen arrive.

'I have to end this quickly!' Adam concluded. If the two arrived, it would be a 3 vs 1 battle and the chance for him to win will be slim.

"Blut Arterie."

Blue veins spread across Adam's body before his body vanished, making Aizen show emotion for the first time as his eyes widened in shock.

Moments later, Adam flashed into existence behind Aizen. Making him swiftly turn around and block the heavy strike while gritting his teeth. Aizen was never the best in combat. At least not until he fused with Hogyoku.

Spark flashes when the two Zanpakuto clashed and Aizen can feel his strength is rapidly being drained by the black blade even when he blocks it with his blade and never allows it to make contact with his body. That means the condition to drain strength isn't to injure him but simply any physical contact.

Aizen scowled and forced his way out from the sword lock before he kicked Adam in the gut to push him away.

"Kyoka Suigetsu!"

Aizen used his Shikai again even if it's not very effective on Adam. As long as he can get a few seconds of time.

"Seeping crest of turbidity, arrogant vessel of lunacy.

Boil forth and deny, grow numb and flicker, disrupting sleep.

Crawling queen of iron, eternally self-destructing doll of mud.

Unite, repulse.

Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness.

Hado 90: Kurohitsugi!"

Aizen chanted rapidly before the gravity and space distorted. The purplish black energy constructed a black box that swiftly encased and imprisoned Adam inside it. Then the spear-like protrusion stabbed the inside, aiming to injure and lacerate the target, doing as much harm as possible and possibly even killing its prisoner inside.

When the spell ended, blood bathed the ground which made Aizen a little relieved as that meant the spell worked. But where did he go? His body disappeared.

"Recoil Burst."

Aizen sharply turn his eyes back to the pool of blood when Adam reappeared, shedding his invisibility after he performed an attack, a massive blue arrow that is more like an oversized spear than an arrow but it rapidly condensed down to the size of a normal arrow with swirling storm of energy around it

"Heilig Pfeil" Adam mutters before he lets loose the arrow.

"Tch!" Aizen feels irritated that his plan is falling apart because he continues to underestimate his opponent. He didn't expect he could survive Kurohitsugi with basically zero injury. Not even Kaido can heal that fast! He must have more hidden abilities, Aizen concluded.

"Bakudo 81: Danku!"

An energy wall appeared before Aizen to block the incoming arrow but the wall quickly gave in and cracked. For the first time Aizen felt panicked. If the wall breaks, he will undoubtedly be injured and be at Adam's mercy.

Just as Aizen wanted to use Shunpo to dodge, his body suddenly surrounded by this red glow that left him paralyzed. He grit his teeth and muster all his willpower to resist as he glares at Adam in the distance.

"Bakudo 9: Geki" Adam mutters before he approaches Aizen in an instant. "It's checkmate, Aizen." Adam said before a powerful and dominating Reishi crashed down on Aizen's own soul. All Aizen could remember was terror and Adam's apathetic face staring down at him like he was nothing more than another obstacle in his eyes before his body turned limp.

Looking at the knocked out Aizen, covered with injury and dirt. Adam mutters "Let's get this done quickly." before he took his zanpakuto out again and activated his Bankai.

"Devour, O Dark Celestial Void of Predation." Adam mumbles before he stabs Aizen's chest.

Immediately, Adam felt a sharp pain all across his body. No, the pain originated from his own soul.

"Fu— AhhHHHHH!" He screamed and roared in pain as blood bleeds out through all his orifices and his own body is torn apart from the inside out.

Aizen Sosuke is as strong as himself. Thus, even half of his Reiryoku is a lot and it was forcefully crammed into his body along with his century long memories and his powers. All these are being forced into Adam's soul which immediately cracked because it didn't have the space needed to store them. His soul is forcefully being expanded to accommodate all his new gains which is a very painful process that repeatedly crack and heal his soul until everything is fit in. What happened in his soul is being translated into his body albeit a spiritual body. But it's a body regardless.

Adam is hanging on to his clarity as pain is drowning him with sheer willpower alone. He cannot pass out here. He must escape. He cannot be found here.

His body continues to break apart as he spam Heal on himself while he crawls out of this place and escapes into the forest before he tripped down on a tree root while running. His mind becomes sluggish and so does his eyes, barely able to discern anything as all he could see is dark blur.

Then he feels a tug, something is trying to drag him into his mindscape.

"No! I-I can't p-pass out h-here…" Adam gasped before his vision turned dark.

When he opens his eyes again, he is in a different place. A still water that stretches to the horizon and a starless night with a single moon hangs on the sky.

"So you have awakened, my new wielder." A soft feminine voice sounded behind him which made him jump away and instinctively reach for his Asauchi but only to grab empty air as there was no blade placed on his waist.

"There is no need to be alarmed. I hold no ill will against you. Not after you had become my new wielder." She said.

Adam looks at the owner of the voice. She is a girl in a green kimono. Her hair is glossy black and short. On her hair are flower ornaments or perhaps real flowers used as ornaments. She sat there in seiza pose, barely feeling threatening at all and he sensed no hostility from her.

"You are the Zanpakuto Spirit of Aizen?" Adam tried to confirm even when he already knew the answer.

"Indeed I was." She nodded gracefully and said. "However, we are out of time, Master. Please listen to me. A Shinigami is not meant to possess more than one Zanpakuto. Because my power is clashing with your original Zanpakuto Spirit, your soul is constantly being damaged."

"Then what should I do?" Adam asked.

"It's simple. A Shinigami is not meant to have two Zanpakuto. So, either you master my Bankai to control my power or you have to discard one of us, Master."

Adam immediately frowned. Naturally, he wouldn't choose the second option after he went all the way to obtain it. No way in hell he's gonna throw away the most OP Zanpakuto in Bleach. Then that means he has to master the Bankai release of Kyoka Suigetsu.

Adam knows how to do it. A Shinigami has to basically defeat their Zanpakuto Spirit and earn their approval in order to obtain the Bankai release. Basically, beat them until they surrender.

Kyoka Suigetsu glanced at Adam before she asked. "So, what is your choice, Master?"

Adam looked straight at her eyes and snickered. "Obviously it's the first option. I went through all that pain to obtain you and you want me to throw you away? After my dead body." He said and immediately summoned his black Zanpakuto blade.

Kyoka Suigetsu looked shocked and surprised before she smiled sweetly. "I see. Master desires me."

"Of course, you are one of the strongest Zanpakuto out there and that stupid Aizen decided to throw you away after obtaining the Hogyoku. If it's me, I wouldn't even think of throwing you away."

Adam reached Kyoka Suigetsu and slashed her only for her to stand still and accept the attack which confuses Adam that he immediately backed away, fearing it's an illusion. But he can see genuine blood spilling from Kyoka Suigetsu which stained the still water below.

"Unlike my previous wielder that sees me as only a tool for his ambition, you genuinely do desire me. Then, how could I not reciprocate your feelings, Master." She smiled beautifully as she approached Adam and cusp his face with her both hands.

"I acknowledge you as my wielder and master. Kyoka Suigetsu will surrender everything to you, her love."

"Wai—

She suddenly lifted her heel to reach higher and placed her lips on Adam's before she stole a long intimate kiss from Adam while looking straight at him with her passionate gaze.

Meanwhile Adam fell into a daze as information about Kyoka Suigetsu's Shikai and Bankai rushed into his mind. He could feel his Reiryoku suddenly expand again by two times, rocketing him all the way to Captain Level Reiryoku.

All Adam remembered was a faint but pleasant floral fragrance before he woke up in the forest where he passed out. Without any time to waste, he rushed back to Seireitei before anyone noticed the one in the dojo wasn't him.

So, hear me out… Kyoka Suigetsu is… genderless? Androgenous? Idk man. I tried to read reddit for any insight to create the Zanpakuto Spirit of Kyoka Suigetsu. Basically, she is like Chevalier D'Eon from FGO if you know what I mean. Her gender is decided by how someone perceives her. Could have pp, could have de ussy or both. Definitely not a trap. But could be one.

On another note, my actual first choice was Quinella from SAO Alice since she is the first to appear when I try to search Kyoka Suigetsu. But then I thought she didn't match the style so I went for the current one.
