William Cole had just been taken away when Ruth Dawn saw the news online and rushed to the detention center to see him as his guarantor.

Considering William's status, these people didn't dare to actually do anything to him. They had taken him into custody merely to alleviate the pressure from public opinion.

"William, you're okay, right?" asked Ruth, her face filled with concern. She looked at William behind the iron bars. "I just heard that someone died at Thirteen Hall. Police cars were all over the place. What happened? Thirteen Hall caught on fire, didn't it just open?"

"There's such a fuss online... How could you have caused someone's death?"

Ruth had full faith in William's medical abilities.

She was uncertain whether his medicine could resurrect the dead, but she did know it was far more effective than what most medical experts could offer in the hospitals.
