Charlotte stared ahead only to be dumbfounded.

Not far from them, there was a church that could be said to be quite magnificent. The courtyard was spacious and there were young people gathered in the courtyard. They were obviously young men and women of the church just by looking at the robes they wore.

However, they were of course just ordinary members, natives of Paris. They knew nothing of the secrets of the Vatican.

That's not strange considering that in the Vatican itself most church members don't know anything either.

Although there seemed to be many Vatican church members who had come to arrest David. If they were in the Vatican, they were really few. They were the elite of the church who were respected by the other members.

If they came to an ordinary church in another city, they would practically be the main pastor. The other pastors could only serve them.
