"Satisfied?" Hazel questioned.
She laid on top of Tobias in their now shared bedroom. He had succeeded in convincing her to leave the ball early so he could see his gift.
"For now. There is still some time left before we have to get up," Tobias replied, holding her in place so she would not leave him just yet.
Hazel rested her head on his bare chest. "You have tired me out and I have to be up soon to greet my parents. I will need to try not to yawn all day."
"Then, how about we just stay in bed?" Tobias proposed. His birthday celebration wasn't over just because the day had passed.
The kingdom was still celebrating so they should join everyone.
"I cannot do that. They missed the ball so we must greet them today. All the work from planning the ball is now coming over me at once. I do not have the strength to move but I must," Hazel said and then yawned as the need to sleep came over her.
