Winter party (1)

"Why do you look so tense? I thought you would be happy to be out of the palace," Hazel said, looking at Tobias on the other side of the carriage.

Hazel was excited to attend another winter party held by the Hensons. It was unfortunate that Linda and most of her family would not be present but Hazel still looked forward to being out of the palace. 

"I am happy," Tobias said, smiling to not worry Hazel. "I would have just preferred that our time out the palace would be with us alone instead of having to go see a room full of annoying bastards. Why do you enjoy this party?"

"I have been going since I was a child and it has always been fun. I got to run around outside with Linda while the guests were inside drinking. You were there a few times," Hazel said.
