We all went to Emily's apartment I was still shocked about the news I know I should be trusting James but it's hard after reading that article when we got to the apartment Alice went to bed I know she was not sleeping so followed her to the bedroom

" want to talk about it " i ask her sitting on the bed she is facing me laying down

" I can't believe it you know she told me she never had a boyfriend before she had sex a few times but she never dated a guy before and now she is engaged to one" tears are falling in her eyes we sit there lost in our thoughts I can't believe the day I get to know that am actually going to have twins is the day I get James's engagement news

" Alice…" Juliet appears in the door Alice sit up hearing her name being called

" I don't want to talk to you in fact I can't believe Emily let you in" Alice said looking at Emily who is standing at the door beside Juliet who is wearing her pjs I am sure she doesn't even care by the look on her face

" Alice please let me explain " she begs getting on the bed trying to hold Alice's hand but she pulls them as if Juliet is burning her

" is it true are you engaged to James Diwans" Alice ask Juliet who " my parents i told you ...…" Juliet tried to explain but Alice cuts her off" it's a yes or no Juliet " she yells at her getting up from bed I know I should leave them to talk but i really want to know if the news are true or just a rumor

" yes it's true" Juliet said defeated Alice took a step back leaning against the wall Emily but i could feel tears forming in my eyes I can't believe a woman I didn't even know a month ago is getting married to the father of my babies I cross my arms holding my belly as if protecting my babies

" but let me explain please it's not what it looks like" Juliet tried to explain herself

" you are engaged to my boyfriend but it's not what it looks like Juliet I didn't know you were selfish " I stand up and left them going to the living room I know I should have minded my own business just as I sit down there is a knock at the door I was about to go open the door " I will get it" Emily rush to the door opening " where is Leila " James said getting inside the house he see me sitting on the couch holding a pillow in my arms i stare at him he walks to me kneeling in front of me holding my hand

" Leila " he say slowly as if he is talking to a child trying to find the right words

" am going home leave me alone and don't follow me go to your fiancé " Alice shouts when she gets in the living room she sees James here " wow how about we throw you an engagement party since you are all here" she throws her hands in the air " Juliet I trusted you I …. Actually loved you ... I ...this is why I don't do relationships I told you before but you convinced me .... I shouldn't have ….l ..." she cries out the last time I remember Alice being in a relationship we were in high school and it lasted for months she always say that she can't handle heartbreaks so she avoided relationship Juliet was crying also she looks at James who is standing now

Emily holds Alice sit her down on the couch and sit with her trying to calm her down

Juliet sit in the remaining sofa and James sit beside me but I move to the side not wanting him to touch me he looks at me moving away from him I can see in his eyes that he looks hurt but i don't care

He just sigh " I know you all saw the headlines but if you gave me a chance I can explain that it's not what it looks like "

" here we go again " Alice tried to stand up but Emily hold her down " just give them a chance to explain " James turns to me facing me as he speaks " me and Juliet are faking an engagement for business purposes we are not in an romantic relationship that's all you can know for now Alice I can assure you that your girlfriend didn't cheat on you and she does love you it's just that we don't have a choice but to be engaged"

" why " Alice ask but she is looking at Juliet

" the less you know the better it will only last for two months and it's only for a show we are sorry we didn't inform you before it goes out but her father did it with us knowing " James answer still looking at me as he speaks

" my father wants me to get married and James need some investment from my father so we are just playing him by faking that we are getting married after James solve his problems that he doesn't need my father's investments anymore he will break up with me and it will be over " Juliet explains more " please Alice I will never cheat on you or betray you any how am sorry I didn't inform you earlier I love you I don't know how you don't see it i know we haven't been together for long but am all in I think of you every time I love everything about you please Alice give me a chance to show you how much you mean to me " Juliet says looking at Alice with admiration Alice stands up throwing her arms around Juliet's shoulders kissing her as if it's the last time they make out forgetting that we are still here I smile at them am happy for Alice she deserves some one like Juliet

" okay that's enough considering you are in my apartment " Emily say but I can see that she is proud of Alice " let's go home " Juliet ask Alice still holding her who nods her head at her turn to Emily hug her " thanks for being here when I needed you and for calling her " Alice thank Emily" always here for you " Emily answers hugging her back I know Emily is a great friend so caring and she is there for us no matter what Alice hugs me " give him a chance okay don't be hard on him " Alice whispers to me
