"Really, I'm fed up with working with you."

"You're always like this, acting blindly and individualistic. You always think you can solve everything by yourself. But this time, they have guns, real guns! Are you trying to tell me you're not afraid of guns now? Not the shoddy spray guns we use around here. Those are high-grade firearms sourced from Piltover."

"Can't you hear what I'm saying, Linwen? Are you deaf now?"

On their way to the Black Spider's territory, Sevika, leading the way, never ceased talking. This surprised Linwen, who had thought she wasn't the type to complain. But now, it seems she can talk quite a bit.

But what intrigued Linwen was that while Sevika was complaining, her strides showed no signs of hesitation. She was walking fast, very fast, resolute and decisive.

Sevika was just that kind of person. In the Black Alley, whether it's a big or small fight, she always got involved. When she was under Vander's command in the past, if she wasn't fighting, she was on the way to a fight. After all, when Linwen met Vander, Vander had already started to "be more diplomatic." As a result, Sevika was forced to pick up the banner of "big boss" and walk at the forefront of everything in the Black Alley.

Linwen remained silent throughout the journey, listening to this big sister's complaints.

It wasn't until they entered the Black Spider's territory that Sevika changed her demeanor as well.

Tucking her hands into her sleeves, gripping her sleeve blade, and biting a thick cigar, she, already tall and burly, raised her head arrogantly.

Linwen observed the surroundings with a frown.

This area no longer fell under Vander's jurisdiction. It was rundown, dim, and filled with the foul smell of liquids. Some people were staring at Sevika and Linwen from the sides, and these individuals had no gang tattoos. They were likely ordinary thieves or thugs.

However, their emaciated bodies, sunken faces, and peculiar glints in their eyes showed that they were addicts. They had indulged in those substances to the point where they were no longer recognizable as "human."

As beasts, they understood clearly that Sevika was someone they couldn't mess with, as evidenced by the way they averted their gaze as soon as Sevika glanced at them.

These were a bunch of junkies.

As they approached an abandoned hospital,

"Sevika, why are you here?"

The place was filthy and dilapidated. At the entrance of the hospital stood several men and women with strange hairstyles and extensive tattoos on their bodies. One of the tattoos was a dark red giant spider. These people were the henchmen of the Black Spider.

They were playing cards, but when they saw Sevika, they all stopped what they were doing.

Sevika walked up to the person who asked the question. She got very close, very close. Then she lowered her head, exhaled the smoke onto the person's face, and said in a cold tone, "Take me to see Fiden."

"We don't welcome Black Hound's people."

"Is this your personal opinion or Fiden's?"

"This..."

"I'll say it again."

Sevika gave him a hard shove, pushing him to the ground. Then she flipped the table in front of her. Holding the cigar in her mouth, she scanned everyone with a cold gaze, seemingly ignoring them.

"Take me to see Fiden. It's getting late, and you guys won't be able to handle the consequence."

Linwen wanted to applaud Sevika, but this was clearly not the right occasion.

Still, Sevika was quite cool. With this move, she had completely suppressed the arrogance of the yellow-haired guy.

"I-I got it. Fiden is inside."

He no longer challenged Sevika and instead gestured to the others. Soon, a short person ran in front of Linwen and Sevika, apparently to report to Fiden.

Sevika didn't stop him, and neither did Linwen.

"Follow me."

He turned around and began leading the way.

Linwen followed closely behind Sevika, carefully observing the surroundings.

Fiden's manpower isn't substantial, probably around twenty or so individuals. Compared to Vander's dozens or even hundreds, Fide 's group can only occupy an abandoned hospital.

He oversees a small piece of land deep in the sewers, and they've been relatively obedient, not violating Vander's instructions. However, after somehow obtaining a few guns from Piltover, it's evident that Fiden is no longer content with the status quo.

He's getting restless.

"Oh, Sevika, what wind brought you here?"

"Aren't you staying in the black ally? Why come to me?"

On the raised platform ahead, a lean, shirtless man sat. Surrounding him were several women with darkened complexions and dirty hair hanging around him.

On his body, a massive dark red spider tattoo crawled across his waist and abdomen.

Linwen watched him, he was smiling, looking at Sevika with a cold gaze.

"Fiden, spare me the nonsense."

"Tell me, was it you who carried out the recent robbery in the black ally?"

Fiden spread his hands, saying wordlessly, "He took my merchandise but didn't pay me. I just did what I had to do. Are you guys trying to intervene even in Zaun's 'transactions'?"

Sevika looked at him. "Vander and him don't allow these 'substances' to be sold around the Undercity. Looks like those guns gave you some courage?"

"Sevika, that's enough, don't use him to press me. I've received news from someone that the Undercity's Enforcer have already broken ties with Vander, and they had a big fight, didn't they?"

Fiden stood up, looking at Sevika, and said loudly, "Furthermore, Sevika, do you really want to continue with Vander? Look at what he's done. He doesn't allow us to sell 'drugs'. Who does he think he is? A saint? He thinks he's different from us, but in reality, he's just like us!"

"Sevika, Vander makes you do everything, but now he appeared and just because he's better at fighting, Vander made him the second-in-command of the black ally, and even publicly stated that he would pass the black ally to him. Sevika, can you really endure this?"

Fiden tilted his head, waving his hands, seemingly advocating for Sevika's cause. "From the mouths of others, all I hear about is Sevika taking care of things, Sevika is on her way, if you need anything, go find Sevika. Vander has delegated the task of receiving guests to Sevika."

"But look at what's happening now!"

Fiden shouted loudly.

But Sevika glanced at Linwen beside her discreetly. However, he was wearing a white mask and had lowered his hat, making it impossible for Sevika to see his expression.

However, what Fiden said was something Sevika had considered.

Indeed, there was a time when she was dissatisfied, but now, Sevika was very satisfied.

She was never loyal to anyone.

For Sevika, there was only one object of loyalty—Zaun.

"In total, there are four guns, Sevika, you go out first."

"Wait for me to call you."

Linwen patted her shoulder.

Sevika nodded and looked at Fiden for a moment, then, to Fiden's puzzled expression, she turned and walked away.

Sh-She's leaving?!

I've said so much, and she just left like this?

But when screams were heard outside, Fiden's face immediately turned pale, and he pointed at Linwen.

"Kill this kid!"

Behind him, two guns were aimed at Linwen.

Then Fiden watched as he lifted the brim of his hat.

Revealing a pure white mask.

It was a mask that only revealed one eye.

And that eye was pitch black.

Then Fidjen seemed to recall something.

"No, no, this can't be right!"

"You broke ties with Vander, didn't you? How come you're here?"

"Who told you I broke ties with Vander?"

Linwen lifted his white robe, revealing a finely crafted iron sword of moderate length.

"Fire, fire!"

"Kill him!"

Fiden pointed at Linwen, screaming in a peculiar manner.

"Boom boom boom!"

"Ah!"

Accompanied by the gunshots, a split second before, Linwen threw the iron sword he held. It pierced through a person's body, the massive force propelling his body, piercing his chest, and nailing him to the hospital wall.

"Fiden, you've done something wrong."

"Wrongdoings deserve punishment."

A hoarse and somber voice emanated from Linwen's mouth.

The enforcer of the Undercity was about to start his enforcement action.

In Fiden's terrified gaze, the next second, Linwen appeared beside another person holding a gun. He bent and threw a punch, a heavy punch landing on the person's side abdomen. The ferocious force shattered half of his body, tearing it apart to reveal the inner organs. They scattered on the ground, the stench of blood and viscera filling the air, splattering on a few faces, instantly causing them to break down and lose their ability to act.

Yet, Linwen's fist remained untainted.

With strength and agility surpassing one hundred and fifty, when Linwen threw a punch now, it was no longer just about sheer strength.

"Quick, quickly, drink the potion!"

In just a few short seconds, two of his underlings had died. This made Fiden truly believe Linwen's words.

Guns were useless against him. If he were to reappear, only that 'thing' would be effective!

A faint hope.

"Drink it all, or we'll all die!"

Fiden waved his hand, and then... the dozen or so gangsters who were previously frightened all around, as if grabbing a lifesaving straw, immediately took out a bottle of purple potion and quickly poured it into their mouths.

Their bodies corrupt and twisted, muscles rapidly expanding. In just a few breaths, they transformed from "humans" into "beasts."

After dealing with another person with a gun, Linwen turned around and simply laughed.

Linwen opened his mouth and silently cursed:

"Silco, you little son of a...."
