"Let me," Dede said slowly as he noticed the discomfort on Meka's face while she tried to untie the knot of her skirt.
They had stopped to rest at a little hut they came across, and the owner of the house had only agreed for them to stay after they placed a large amount of cowries in his hand. He had given them a room, saying it was the only one available.
