Chapter 32

"My good son," she uttered. Her was voice weak as she used all her strength to caress his face.

That slight touch, Zach felt it. He wanted to hold her hand but he couldn't. He wanted to say something to her but no sounds came out from his mouth.

"You've grown well... I am very happy that you came into my life. This mother of yours, loves you so much..."

'I want to speak. I want to tell her I also love her. I've never said those words to my mother before. I want to thank her...'

'Please let me speak just this once.'

'Please!' Zach screamed inside his mind.

Tears poured from the corners of his eyes. His warm tears dropped into his mother's hand, sending the message 'I heard you,' to her.

"Edmund my sweet child, you're such a good man," she stated faintly, understanding what his tears meant. She felt happy that he heard her, but she's starting to feel hazy. The little bit of strength left in her, faded away.
