All around was silence, with only the desert wind causing a ruckus, as the blowing sand had already covered the sleeping bag with a thin layer. Song Jian concentrated, quietly sensing everything around him, yet he found nothing. It was as if everything he had sensed before had been a dream.
"No, there must be some danger approaching. Although there doesn't seem to be anything unusual, the warning in my mind definitely didn't appear out of nowhere!" Song Jian thought to himself.
As his strength had grown stronger, so too had his intuition for danger, now akin to a wild animal's.
Song Jian sat up from his sleeping bag. The robot Nafiboja, which had been in an energy-saving perception mode, ceased the rotation of its sensory equipment.
"Song Jian, have you noticed anything?" Nafiboja asked in a low voice.
"I feel a bit uneasy, perhaps there is some danger approaching!" Song Jian said, looking around.
