The weirdo hadn't affected Long Yi's good mood. The shop that Wesley had taken them to last time was still generously portioned and affordable, and the taste was authentic. After a full meal, Long Yi packed a large bag for Bajie, then lugging the big bag, he swaggered back to the dormitory.
As soon as he returned to the dormitory, he saw that the dormitory door had been smashed, and Arin was standing amidst the mess, presumably just returned like him. Bajie was not there, and the air was filled with a strange aroma.
Right then, Wesley also arrived, panting heavily.
"Boss, Arin, are you guys okay? I heard some second-year assholes came to your dormitory."
As Wesley approached, he saw the area was in ruins, but Long Yi and Arin had just arrived back and didn't know what had happened. At this point, he sniffed the air, was slightly taken aback, and then his brows furrowed. Following this, he exclaimed in horror, "Boss, this smells like burning Dragon Mint! When the Dragon Clan smells this scent, they lose all their defenses and blindly follow others!"
Wesley screamed.
Upon hearing Wesley say this, the typically calm Long Yi's face finally changed.
"We need to go to the second year immediately, or it'll be too late," Long Yi hurriedly rushed out of the dormitory.
"Don't worry, Brother Long. No one dares to harm the Dragon Clan within the academy unless they have a death wish," Wesley quickly explained.
"I'm not worried about Bajie, I'm worried about them!" Long Yi said word by word, "That dragon, he isn't always patient with everyone. If we're too late, they really will lose their lives!"
A few second-years had witnessed Long Yi's power firsthand and acknowledged they couldn't defeat him. But messing with him was deemed necessary. To stun Bajie with Dragon Mint and then hide him, there was no doubt Long Yi would come to apologize.
This was not the first or second time something like this had happened, yet the Academy never interferes. In Dean Xue's view, if a Dragon Knight could lose his dragon, what right did he have to be a Dragon Knight?
Thus, many similar incidents happen every year. You either find it yourself or you back down.
The five people who carried out this plan thought it through clearly. It was going smoothly and Bajie was successfully hidden in the second year's weapon warehouse. A student holding a lit Dragon Mint was by Bajie's side. Seeing Bajie's bewildered eyes, the student couldn't help but feel smug.
"It's just a stupid chubby Ground Dragon, even if it can breathe fire, it doesn't mean it can catch a Giant Dragon in the sky."
The student knew Bajie couldn't hear him, he was just talking to himself.
After a while, the student got bored. Holding the Dragon Mint, he approached Bajie, wafting the scent in front of Bajie's nostrils to ensure Bajie wouldn't wake up. Then, he suddenly lifted his foot and kicked Bajie's chubby belly hard.
Boom!
After one kick, Bajie didn't move, but the student was rebounded back by the thick layer of fat.
"Just a stupid fat dragon daring to resist?"
The student kicked Bajie's belly, legs, and even stomped hard on Bajie's tail a few times.
Whoo-
A strange muffled noise came from within Bajie. The student paused, stopped his actions. Bajie hadn't moved at all, was it just his imagination?
Whoo-
This time, a distinct muffled sound came from within Bajie again. It sounded like...
"Dragon Breath!"
The student was shocked, his whole body's Fighting Aura was revolving at full speed as he rushed to one side.
Boom!
A magnificent Dragon Breath spouted from Bajie's mouth.
At this point, Long Yi, Arin and Wesley arrived in front of the second year's quarters, it was naptime. There were not many people around, but Long Yi ran into someone he recognized.
Tang Ze.
When Tang Ze saw Long Yi, he immediately thought of their previous agreement. He was just puzzled, Long Yi had said it would be practical class, so why was he here now.
"Boss, this is the strongest in the second year, and also the boss of the entire second year, named Tang Ze," The know-it-all Wesley hurriedly whispered to Long Yi.
"Kid—"
Tang Ze was about to start, but Long Yi didn't wait for him to finish, directly asking, "Where's my dragon?"
Tang Ze was surprised, Dragon Knights could find their lost dragons through the Dragon Soul contract. Did Long Yi lose his dragon? He didn't know about this, but since Long Yi asked like this, someone else in the second year must have done something.
"I don't know."
Tang Ze honestly answered.
"What, are you that scared of fighting with our Brother Long? You make an agreement to fight here, and then steal the dragon there," Wesley took the opportunity to sling insults, there's no way he'd miss such a chance. On the way here, Long Yi had described how he fought with a second-year student and Wesley remembered it.
Tang Ze's eyebrows frowned slightly, he really didn't know about this. As the strongest in the second year, he had his pride; he wouldn't stoop to things like this.
"Wesley, it wasn't him," Long Yi saw Tang Ze's expression and said. He knew very well that this Tang Ze was confident in his own abilities and would never resort to underhanded tricks.
Tang Ze looked at Long Yi's expression and nodded secretly in his heart. This big oaf was not one to cause trouble. Although he had stirred things up in the second year, after his thorough investigation, it was the second year who started it. Bullying was only okay until it was turned around; they could only blame themselves for not being strong enough, no one else was to blame.
