Chapter 1Eamon

Eamon was your average guy. You could say that there was nothing extraordinary about him. When he was a child, he had many hobbies and interests. One of his interests was creating and crafting stuff.

He was considered talented in anything related to creating, modeling, and crafting. Once he even crafted a beautiful wooden sword for his father, who in exchange taught him how to use many weapons.

However, one day a catastrophe happened. Portals started appearing all over the world in large numbers. Five days after the dungeon appeared, monsters would start coming out.

The monsters were terrifying; no normal human could ever hope to defeat one without any weapons. With their height far above humans and strength capable of destroying cars and buildings, humanity was on the edge of despair. Only some of the weakest monsters could be killed with guns; stronger monsters seemed to be accustomed to harsher environments, and chemicals and guns didn't work on them too effectively.

Their claws and their teeth were as big as swords, their eyes big and dull, muscles bulging, and the ground shattering beneath their steps. Such monsters were the main reasons for the destruction.

Because of this, more than 40% of the human population died, and the space where humans could safely live was reduced daily.

It seemed that it would all just continue until the monsters killed everyone. However, one day a group of people with superhuman abilities appeared. They started to call themselves Awakeners.

Awakeners were able to fight against monsters on equal footing and, thanks to their special abilities, defeated many of the disastrous monsters.

Anyone could awaken if they got the chance, but only 1 in 10 people successfully awakened.

That all happened 10 years ago when Eamon was still a child.

While thinking about all of this, Eamon slowly stood up from his TV, where the news about the Awakeners association recruiting a new S-class Awakener was loudly announced.

Eamon switched the TV off and thought to himself, "It's sad that if you don't awaken in this world, society will forget that you even exist." He slowly made his way toward the door that led to his shop.

When he was 18, he also hoped to awaken and help his country fight, just like his father did.

Although his wish was granted, it was not in the way he envisioned. He became ridiculed since he was the rare F-class awakener.

He fell into depression after awakening with such trash stats. His father always said that he could still help people by crafting useful things. He always managed to lift Eamon's mood. However, that only lasted until he died in a portal outbreak.

The Awakeners Association compensated Eamon, which allowed him to use the money to buy his shop.

Eamon mumbled something and a Status window appeared before his eyes. A bright blue screen displaying his statistics seemed to shine.

Skills/Talents:

[Crafts Prodigy LVL 3]

Evaluation: A useless F-class awakener but a capable crafter.

Not every awakener had the ability to fight but excelled in other things. Most of the time the talents you get at your awakening are what shapes your future.

Due to his ability to craft and invent things, he opened a shop in the city he was in. It wasn't anything super special, but there were still things that could be used in the daily life of an awakener.

The things he sold varied greatly, from tools for collecting material from monsters and traps to detection and communication gadgets for awakeners.

Since it was around 8 AM, he had to open his shop once again. He went to the entrance of his shop and flipped the sign that previously said "closed" to "open." This way, he began another day as a shop owner.

With his usual mood, he sat behind the desk and started fiddling with some tools and wood while waiting for any customers to come in and order anything.

A few minutes passed by, and nothing happened until a group of awakeners in gray armor came in, arrogantly laughing and discussing something funny.

Eamon didn't like this type of people; they seemed like individuals who expected many privileges solely because they were awakeners. But as long as they paid in full, he wouldn't have any complaints.

They slowly approached him and started talking. "Hello, we would like to have some text engraved on our swords," a quite handsome man in their group said.

"Welcome, and of course, it is possible for the right price. How many swords, and what text? I will get to it right away," responded Eamon cheerfully, glad to have something to work on.

The group exchanged looks, considering something, and then the handsome one said, "We have 5 swords, and the text should be 'This party never dies.'" He said it quite proudly, announcing what he wanted to be engraved. It seemed that since this group had 5 members, they wanted a sword for each.

Eamon had no issue with that. He took their swords and, with beautiful handwriting, engraved the requested text onto the handles of each sword within 15 minutes.

Once he was done, he called the group over, who had been chatting in the meantime.

"That will be 20 dollars for each sword, totaling 100 dollars," Eamon said as he handed the swords to them respectfully, looking forward to his favorite part of the transaction—getting paid.

However, despite stating the price and handing them their swords, they seemed indifferent to his words. Instead, they wore carefree expressions, fixated on the engravings.

None of them seemed inclined to pay. Eamon, a bit surprised, repeated himself, hoping it might have been a misunderstanding.

One of them glared at Eamon and angrily said, "What the heck are you talking about? Shut the heck up. You expect us to pay even though we protect your behind while you sit here all day?" He erupted in anger at Eamon.

Eamon stood stunned; such a situation had never arisen before, customers yelling and complaining.

Panicked and unsure how to handle this, Eamon said, hoping it was some kind of joke, "Uh, please don't joke like this. I can even lower the price since it's true that you are helping people. Let's make it a fair 90 dollars."

The group burst into laughter, as if they had heard the funniest joke of their lives, then turned around to leave the shop without paying.

One of them remarked, "HAHA, what are you gonna do if we decide to leave, huh? Nothing! Or do you want to try and fight a group of E-class awakeners?" Arrogantly and shamelessly, he challenged Eamon.

Eamon had already calculated that fighting even one E-class awakener was tantamount to suicide. Just as he decided to let it go, deeming it not worth the conflict, the door swung open, and a girl around his age entered. A crossbow adorned her back, emitting a faint white gleam.

With hair of vivid blue cascading just above her shoulders and attire that hinted at augmented strength, she quickly grasped the situation in the shop. Her intense gaze locked onto the group, an invisible force suffocating Eamon gradually but surely.

To him, she exuded an undeniable aura of power. Frozen, the group shifted their attention to her, greeting her respectfully. Swiftly, they turned back to Eamon, apologetically conceding, "How did we forget? Silly us..." Their expressions turned dark as they handed over the full 100 dollars, hastily fleeing the scene.

Approaching Eamon, the girl introduced herself as Kate, an D-class Awakener. She wanted Eamon to craft arrows for her.

Eamon assured Kate that the task would take some time and recommended she return in about an hour. Surveying the materials, he meticulously assessed and weighed them. While working with materials from monster bodies was more challenging, the resulting products boasted superior quality compared to conventional items.

With Kate having provided all the necessary materials, Eamon needed only to retrieve some wood from his storage room to fashion the arrow shafts. Methodically, he divided the materials into 30 equal portions and stored the remainder for later use.

He proceeded to polish each component with care before embarking on the intricate process of assembly. Each step proceeded flawlessly, his practiced hands maneuvering with finesse.

The task proved manageable, yielding even some surplus material. The rest of the day passed in the usual rhythm of processing mundane orders. Finally satisfied with his day's accomplishments, Eamon closed up shop, retiring to his room as darkness settled in.

He comfortably laid on his bed slowly drifting off to sleep.

His body went to sleep but his consciousness woke up to an amazing sight.

In a white space, only Eamons body appeared out of nowhere. His appearance was like the start of time as all events started happening.

A big rock appeared. Similar to if time sped up the rock started quickly turning into sand.

A big body of water appeared and fell on the massive amount of sand creating dirt. Many unbelievable phenomena started happening one by one.

Eamon only had awe written on his face all this time. It seemed to him as if the history of the world was happening.

After minutes of mountains being created and destroyed, oceans and seas appearing and disappearing did everything finally slow down.

Eamon's gaze then turned toward a primitive human that seemed to see Eamon. With a gaping expression the primitive human started kneeling.

Second, after that, Eamon woke up with a splitting headache and a notification.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
